I use this to open my pickle jars and spaghetti sauce jars, works great so far

this opener is okay for small bottles and jars (e.g., ketchup or soda bottles, horseradish jars), but not for jars with bigger lids, like a canning or olive jar. the picture shows it against a canning jar of a size that cannot even fit into the opener. that's misleading.
