We bought this bed as a graduation gift for our son, for his first apartment after college. He was anxious to loose the "college look" and have more sophisticated surroundings. This bed fits the bill perfectly. It is sleek, modern and very city chic. I think it's a little low to the ground, but he loves it. It took him and his roomate about an hour and a half to put it together. It arrived in perfect condition, and the delivery service was very good about letting us know when it would come.
