bought this for rental property, so I didn't want it to be over the top bling and appealing to either male or female renters. neutral walls and white crown makes this chandelier POP. love it

It's a statement piece for sure, I put in the foyer and every female friend liked it. The only negative is it's a little troublesome to assemble together, it took a couple of hours for us.

Love it!! This light is beautiful! I have it hanging in my formal living room. The make the whole room look very warm. It gives off an amber color. It was very easy to install- I did it myself! (I am a female school teacher)

I love this chandelier - it looks exactly as it does in the picture. I wish it was a LITTLE less whimsical but I can really only blame myself for that. It took me a few hours to install (I am a 28 yr old female with zero experience with lighting installation) but when I called the help line they were very accommodating. The chandelier looks great and brings a lot of light into the space!

Absolutely stunning chandelier. This way exceeded my expectations. It just shimmers!!!! I do have it wired to a dimmer switch and the ambiance is beautiful. I would highly recommend this product. I am a female with very little knowledge in any type of handy work around the house and I was able to install this myself. I would say the only con would be if you did not have it on a dimmer, it is very bright on full voltage. Easily fixed with lower wattage bulbs.

I was looking for a chandelier for my dining room and I wanted the "Celeste" that is carried at another retailer. Much to my surprise this is the EXACT chandelier that they sell but at a much lower price. It does require full assembly but I was able to put it together and install it without any problems (I am a fresh out of college female). Some have commented on the crystals not all being glass but they look great to me and I am very picky! I did have a little trouble finding bulbs that the shades wouldn't pop off of, but just take the shade with you to the store and you should be fine.

This lamp installed in my dining room looks exactly as it does on the web site. It has the profile I wanted, doesn't hang too low. I was concerned that the crystals may need to be attached, but were assembled. I am a female, and I installed this by myself, in about 20 minutes without any issues. I was concerned that it might look gaudy, but it looks rich. Looks very pretty when lit, casts pretty little lights all over the ceiling.

I put this fixture in an all white bathroom with a 9 foot ceiling. There are no windows in this bathroom so I needed the fixture to put off a lot of light. It is just stunning! Woman who see the fixture generally can't stop commenting on the unique quality and beauty. Even my female electrician was thrilled and couldn't stop talking about it. (My husband and other men I know find it a little too frou frou with the crystal baubles.) Every time I enter the room I love to gaze at it and am so lucky to have found it at such a great price.

like the other reviews, the assembly process was not very fun. it took me (30-yr-old female) about an hour, while watching tv. some of the pieces appear to be real glass, and others are definitely fake; however, once the chandelier was hung, i was very impressed. it definitely looks more expensive and high-end than one would expect from a $130 purchase. definitely take all of the pieces out of the packaging and lay them out so you know what you are working with. many of the pieces look very similar, and you may accidently attach the crystals incorrectly otherwise. although, i don't think it really matters if you get the exact placement of the crystals - the whole thing just sparkles when it is lit. i'm very happy with it! 4 stars because of the lack of directions for assembly (you basically just look at a picture and guess) and also because when i went to o.co yesterday to try to look at different views of the chandelier while assembling i saw that the item went on sale; however, beacuse it had been more than 7 days since i ordered the item - they would not do a price adjustment.

Some things you need to know before you purchase and or install this fixture.1. The metal flange that attaches the fixture to the ceiling while covering the electrical box is very flimsy and is not made of the same steel that the rest of the instrument is made out of. This fixture ships with one of the rods in bolted to it and it can easily bend while removing it from its packing. Also, it?s good to know while affixing the bulbs and globes. To try to distribute the weight evenly by having someone hold it or affixing globes to opposing sides; so that it won?t bend, make a dimple or put un-necessary wear on the flimsy chrome plate.2. Extension Rods. The fixture comes with 2 extension rods. As it is packaged it only allows for 2 lengths. The very long full with both rods assembled or shorter semi flush (located closer to the main sphere of the fixture). DO NOT REMOVE BOTH RODS. You will have a tough time stringing the electrical wire back through the rods. I did because I thought I would use the medium rod instead of the shorter one. It can be done, but you would need extra hardware to affix the rod to the ceiling plate brace. The shorter has two male end threadings. The longer has one end male and the other end female.3. Bulbs. This fixture does not take regular sized bulbs. It takes ?Ceiling Fan? shaped bulbs not to exceed 60 watts each. I used Edison Halogen 40?s A15?s. Regular sized bulbs will not fit through the frosted globe?s opening.4. Wash the globes before assembling. You will see every spec of dust and debris through the glass when light is emitted through it.5. Affixing globes: There are 3 springs that will hold the globe over the bulb. Push 2 of the 3 springs down while placing over the bulb. Then collapse the 3rd to slide the globe and affix the globe into place.I found that the frosted globes are un even in workmanship. It shows defects in either the blowing of the glass or the frosting process. All in all, I would say that it accomplishes the modern retro look but for what I got, I think a lower price point would been more suitable in my opinion.
