Finally found a pair of great little sconces for my entryway that did not look like a bathroom reject. Very sturdy and well made and you cannot beat the price. Be clear these aren't some high end $XXX fixtures that you're getting a deal on - you'll see some of the weld spots and the under parts of the actual light fixture. Top and bottom are open. These hug the wall so seeing the under parts isn't a big deal. The glass is sturdy and the metal is decent thickness. Faux finished the metal, a dark bronze, with a dab or two of antique gold to make them look more aged and put in those faceted candelabras. I get compliments on them all the time. *Note that there is a single bulb fixture; my original choice of LED bulbs with the opaque bottoms did not work due to the non-symmetrical shadow and below the fixture not getting light cast. Switched out to those faceted incandescents and wow!
I love this piece. It was nice & narrow as I wanted something that wouldn't be obtrusive into the hallway, I wanted it to be as flush with the wall as possible and this was great. It fits a compact florescent bulb which is great so I don't mind if I have to leave it on for a long stretch of time. The design is nice and modern. It is masculine enough that it doesn't look girly, but stylish enough that it doesn't look like a bachelor pad. Its perfect for a mix of modern & classic. I'm really happy with this sconce and the matching circular 3-light fixture that we got for our kitchen. Fabulous pieces!
