What is the height of the actual fixture minus the chain....also can it be put up as a flush mount?...can the shades be removed? Thanks coy32 on Mar 21, 2013

Hello, the chandelier height is an estimated 28 inches H. Swirls extend above the column (in the center) preventing it to hang as a flush mount. A representative will need to answer about the shades. My guess is if they are a part of the assembly process... they don't have to be included. Just a guess. Someone can also confirm the first two answers. The total height is given. Subtract the chain length from that and should be the chandelier height. The picture shows the swirls going over the column ruling out a flush mount. IMO.. I love this chandelier but need 6 feet of wire. Is there any way to make this work or to somehow add long enough wiring? I'm sure I can manage the chain portion but it's the wire I'm curious about. jdrx on Mar 17, 2013

What type of crystals? Acrylic? Optical? Do they reflect the light and/or produce shadows? The features indicate the chandelier is delivered assembled.
