Pieces were sturdy and well marked...except some of the bolts were misnumbered and a few other pieces were missing entirely.

The nightstand was not really difficult to put together following the pictures but it did take about an hour. The backboard isn't colored on both sides so either the inside or the outside will be cardboard colored not black. When it was all put together, it was a little unstable and in transporting it, you have to pick it up by the base or sides. Overall, it is nice for the money.

Although this item required quite a bit of assembly it wasn't difficult and it is a very attractive piece of furniture. I knew when I felt the weight of the box it came in that it would not be a cheap looking piece of furniture. I bought a cute retro lamp to put on it and it looks adorable. Very nice looking for the price, would recommend highly. It requires quite a bit of assembly but the instructions are very easy to follow.

This is a great nightstand which in my case worked out to be a perfect height for placement next to my bed. The wood used for construction is of good quality with a nice finish that looks great. There was one caveat though, after finishing construction of the piece I noticed that the drawer was slightly crooked when closed. It wasn't bad enough to prevent the drawer from closing but certainly enough to notice, after many attempts at adjusting the tracks and their positions I ended up having to drill my own holes on one side for the relative track to be attached to. It is not a difficult procedure though definitely a bit of a pain to have to do. In the end the piece looks great and functions exactly how it should, I am quite pleased with this purchase.

Very easy instructions for assembly. Once assembled, it looks like a high dollar item.

cons first, the shelves are each 6 1/2 inches tall, jsut a touch to small to fit my books upright, but as they are deep, lying them flat works. this can be fixed with some tools. it came unassembled, wich was fine, but i feel there should have been more wood glue, supoer glue finished the job. the handle is a bit short hoizontally, this too can be replaced. pros! the shelf is a great size, the drawer space i've got no issies wuth, its hard enough to find a one drawer shelf like this. nice black wood finish, good thick materials and fits nicely with is compact size

I bought two of these bedside tables, and they exceeded my expectations. The simple lines and matt black finish make the tables appear pricier than they were. They were also relatively easy to put together; my 11-year-old put the second one together herself, save for some help from me in tightening the screws.

We are very happy with these nightstands we purchased for our ski condo. They are attractive and sturdy. The drawers glide really well. My husband had no problem putting them together and they were packed very well so arrived in fine shape. They are not heirloon furniture pieces, granted, but if you are looking for an attractive functional piece without investing much money, these would be more than adequate.

I ordered this nightstand for my son to put in his apartment. He said it was easy to put together and was just right for the space. He likes it a lot.

I looked and looked for a nightstand that would match my bedroom set, or at least come close. This works quite well. Easy to put together, nice finish, nice hardware. Was shopping around for days couldn't find anything any where, until one day I came to overstock and saw these there cheap but nice. So of course I figured that they where going to be cheap looking since they where so cheap but to my surprise they are nice looking, sturdy and not cheap wood good wood. EXCELLENT BUY FOR THE PRICE

Purchased this for my daughter for her room at college. I received the product in 2 days after ordering. Product is perfect for the money.

Easy to put together and nice quality for the price. I thought it was solid black, but it has a nice wood grain finish.

This was pretty easy assembly, though not as easy as IKEA stuff but nonetheless it was simple. Drawers pull out smooth and over all it is a solid piece.

just got my nightstand for my new place. it loks great and was easy to set up, considering moving and unpacking all my stuff i appericate the simplicity of the item. Not much to it, its strudy and does it job!
