  Great addition to finish the look in the porch and it provides a relax look but also, it gets very hot here. We run the fan all the time.

  Fan installs fast and works great. We like the look and remote. The only negatives are light bulbs need to be low profile in order to fit such as CFL. It may be hard to find really bright lights that can fit. Fan blades are flimsy and had some depressions but wasn't noticeable since it was only on the darkwood side. Other than few issues, all 3 fans are fantastic.

  the light kit was substandard. the unusual housing for the light bulb prevents the light from being diffused arount the entire glass.... so you only get light from one side of the fixture. and a 40 watt bulb is inadequate at best.

  The problem with this fan is the very unusual and difficult to use hardware that holds the blades to the main housing.I have never seen this design before and took a good amount of time to hook up each blade. It's unfortunate that the description of the fan doesn't include anything about this part of the process. Secondly the wiring in the main housing was not well put together... to the extent that power to the light kit was effected and we wound up almost re-wiring it to get the power corrected.and have the light kit work
