I ordered this chair for an art project for my son. We'd been searching online for an Adirondack chair - unfinished - and the prices were all pretty high - $175+. We saw a few cheaper, but when we looked at the dimensions, they were tiny. I thought I'd check on Overstock and found this chair at a great price - under $80! The chair arrived semi-assembled in a box, but was easy to put together. Although we expected it to be completely unfinished, there is a finish on it and it could be used exactly as is. (We'll be painting it for the art project.) It's sturdy, and the classic design. Well worth the money. I'm thinking of ordering another.
We were quite pleased with the general/overall construction and appearance of these chairs. They were easy to assemble and they are quite comfortable. Yes, there are better quality chairs out there, but you won't find a better chair at this reasonable price.
These chairs look great. We got four of these in natural. They were a breeze to put together. Couldn't be happier with the price and the product,.
The price looked too good to be true and it was, thin wood broke the second time I sat in it.
The chair was easy to assemble and looks good. I was happy with everything except for the fact that the color was misleading. It is called 'charcoal black' but looks totally blue in reality. My husband even asked why I picked blue for the color. Other than that, it's a very nice chair, just know that it's not charcoal or black :)
Compared w/ other A.chairs, these don't have as much of a recline. They seem a bit cheap, but you get what you pay for. They look good.
