The range hood was the perfect match for the range that went with my kitchen remodle. And I could:nt beleave the price. Thank You for the greate product.

A great value. I liked the appearance more than units costing twice as much. It has features that weren't even mentioned, such as a filter monitor, delay shut-off, and continuously variable light levels. If I had another kitchen to remodel, I'd buy another one.

It is less expensive than lesser hoods in my town, and better looking. I found the installation to be very easy. Only two fasteners hold it to the wall, and a couple for the flue. You have to cut a hole and run the ducting, naturally, but that was no prob either. The wiring ends in a plug so all I had to do was install a socket. I put it in the attick rather than by the flue. If you are a weekend carpenter then no problem at all. I tossed the directions as they were a little wordy. But the pictures were all I needed.

We looked at exhaust hoods at a well known store the day before purchasing from Overstock. We were surprised how expensive hoods were and I told my husband that I could probably find a hood on line. He doubted me and said oh it's not the same and you won't find it. I went to Overstock and immediately found an exhaust hood for $2000 less than what we looked at in the store. It looked almost identical to the one we wanted. I ordered it from Overstock and it arrived within 2-3 days from ordering. That was really nice it arrived so quickly. We were so pleased with the look, style and workmanship of the exhaust hood. You saved us over $2000 and made my husband an on-line Overstock shopper! Thank you and the hood looks GREAT installed!

This hood is awesome, my contractor said it was very well made and he was so impressed that it has six speeds for the exhaust fan. The halogen lighting is so neat and that too has various brightness. I have a catheral ceiling in my kitchen, so I was able to contact the manufacture to purchase additional chimney for the item, and it was priced so reasonable and looks so great in the stainless steel. it is the focal point of my kitchen without a doubt. Love it !!!

I have an issue with the distributor of this product... At first, I did not intend to vent this hood to the outside and so I needed to purchase the additional recirculation kit. After several attempts to contact the distributor failed, I gave up and vented the hood outdoors. It works great and really keeps the room clear of smoke and heat. The other issue I have is that I washed the reuse-able grease filters in the dishwasher and the metallic finish came off the filters. So I have been trying to find replacements for those. I used the high-temp and heavy soil options for the dishwasher... so I would recommend washing them on the normal wash setting.

Nice Range Hood but just assume that you have to add another 700$ for installation. It requires a dedicated circuit, which in my case I didn't have and had to hire an electrician.

I replaced a different brand that we paid a LOT more for with this hood and it does such a great job! The more expensive model did not have near the suction power nor was it as quiet. We hired this out for installation and it did take two men a couple of hours but it is installed properly and works beautifully. I have a Viking 6 burner cook top and do a lot of searing (with the resulting smoke) and this hood handles it well. Very quiet, great lights...can't say enough good about it!
