I had been looking online and in stores for quite some time. Wanted something stylish with as short chimney height as possible. I saw this one at overstock and was amazed. It was perfect, the price was good and it had good ratings. The service and delivery speed were super. Overall the purchase was a breeze. Now that it's installed I couldn't be happier - I had someone do it for me. It looks great, it's quiet and I love the lights I highly recommend it and overstock.com.

First of all this product arrived very well packaged with no damage. It was shipped promptly. I did had problems installing so I recommend a professional do it. It looks fabulous and very modern. I am very impressed.

This is a lovely vent hood, and it seems to work well. Be aware that it does sit lower than perhaps expected - one must be careful not to hit their head while working at the back of the stove! (And this is with it at it's highest possible height.) Our contractors had a bit of a difficult time installing it, as the instructions were not particulary clear. It is very quiet and looks nice. The one drawback I have is that there is no trim kit included, nor is there any indication that you may need one. Plan on purchasing a trim kit or make one yourself for where the vent goes through the ceiling.

We looked online and at many stores to find an island hood vent that was affordable. This one was much cheaper than others that we saw out there and is very good quality. It was pretty difficult to install. Part of our problem was that we had a load bearing beam in the middle of the ceiling that we wanted to install it on. The hood vent doesn't come with many options as far as increasing or decreasing the height of it. But if you have standard height ceilings it shouldn't be an issue. We were very impressed with the looks of the vent and how quickly it arrived to our house. For the money it's the best value we've found anywhere.

It looks great in my kitchen. I was worried it would stand out or look out of place because of course it is an island. No need to worry, it is stream-line in appearance and looks great with my notty pine cabinets and granite counter tops. The only thing you will need to do is get the special pipe needed to vent it outside. It comes with everything else, but we did not realize this and had to wait a couple of days to get the parts and get the contractor back in to finish the job. But I really love the appliance.

Prepare for a difficult install... but in the end, it is very nice. One problem - the fan rattles at speed one.

We just had the Island Range Hood installed in our renovated kitchen. The appearance is very pleasing to the eye. Operation of hood very easy to use as well. The contractor was able to install it using the dowloaded directions with relative ease. The only comment I have on the installation is that the Island Hood is set up for a 9 foot ceiling and our home is an older home with 8 foot ceiling. When he was cutting the round duct pipe to accomodate the height, the weld came apart. We had to have a welder run another bead on it to join it. Just a minor inconvenience. But would recommend the product - good value for the money!

We've received many compliments and it seems to work fine. The lights are bright and the dimmer are a nice feature. We hired an electrician to install and he had a hard time -- it seemed difficult so I am glad I didn't try to install it on my own.

We love the range hood. We saved a lot of money by buying through Overstock. The only thing that we would like to see changed are the instalation instructions. They were not very clear on how to adjust the chimney lenght properly and we had to do it over a couple of times before getting it right. Not Fun. Now that it is installed, it is beautiful as well as functional. And with so many exhaust levels it's excellent. We also love the dimmer light adgustment. We have gotten so many compliments. It really is beautiful. We would highly recommend this item to anyone.
