Catskill Craftsmen Modified Cuisine Kitchen Cart

Very happy with the cart. The company replaced any damaged parts quickly. No complaints.

I love this piece for my kitchen. I need an item to hold cookbooks, wine, spices, and other items. It's perfect for a smaller kitchen that lacks cabinet space. The wood is good and strong but the only downfall I had after the easy assembly was that the doors do not come together fully for a tight close. They have a small gap between them.

This was my first experience with overstock.com, and my worst with any online retail store. This product cost me over $200 and I expected a very good product. I read many reviews about this cart, and I fully understood that I would have to put it together myself. After first opening my product, I found 3 major pieces broken (front drawer D1, Left drawer D4, and towel bar post). I was told this was probably through the shipping and handling, and they would replace it in 5-10 business days (this product was probably about 15-20 wooden pieces, and many different screws, spread out all over my kitchen floor to assemble). After receiving my replacement parts, the third item towel bar post, was never included in the shipment. When i called again, they made note and a few days later, I received a completely different replacement part (towel bar rods) than what I requested. (There are a lot of pieces to this cart, but an easy instruction/parts guide was included...so I knew I wasn't giving them the incorrect information). While waiting for this third replacement part to finally arrive, I began putting together my cart. To my dismay, one of the replacement parts they were supposed to give me, Left drawer D4, was actually the Right side drawer D3, which would not obviously not fit because of where the screw holes were aligned. I had to call again and re-request this part, being very specific and detailed on how this piece should look. Receiving the final pieces a few days later, I was relieved to finally finish putting this cart together. UNFORTUNATELY (I should have seen more issues coming), as I was putting together the last part -- the front doors, the package included two left doors D8, and no D9 -- the right door. Again, like the drawers mentioned previously, the screws are only in certain locations, and if I utilized both left doors, the handles would be significantly and noticeably uneven. When I first received this product, I went through all the pieces to make sure they were correct and this piece would have been hard to tell until the customer was actually putting it together. I was getting very frustrated having to call overstock.com this many times and I feel like there was such a lack of communication and mis-communication (after reading my customer care history, many things were misquoted and incorrect.)I am so disappointed with this experience and expected much better service and quality products.

great cart but definitely needs to be resanded on top part. i am disabled and as i was having other furniture redone in house had my contractor do resanding and coating. is beautiful but if you use as microwave cart like i would definitely resand top part. my caregiver easily put together.
