Like most others, my husband had a great deal of difficulty putting this together. The instructions aren't clear, even thought we read them through before starting, pieces aren't labeled, the back piece of the drawer arrived with a split, and he had to go to the hardware store for missing screws. I'm disappointed in the finish-it's very rough - splintery-and appears it wasn't finished at all. The color in the ad is very misleading-ours came with one very light door and the other very dark. Looks like a skunk. The back looks like a piece of unfinished plywood, so we can't face it towards the kitchen aisle. All in all, if my husband hadn't put many hours into putting this together, I would have returned it.
Although the wood is very solid, my husband is ready to kill me. The directions have labels but there are NO LABELS on any of the parts so you have to be a carpenter to put this together. It has now taken him all day and he just left to go to the hardware store because the screw holes are in the wrong places and he needed to drill new holes and get different screws!! I'm sure that when done, this will be fine, but I wouldn't do this again.
