We bought this bed a few months ago and I decided to wait and review until I saw how it held up. As in the other reviews, this bed required some extra work to make it solid. I converted mine into a platform bed, so I purchased $40 worth of 3/4inch plywood, and made 3 more slats plus the large pieces cut to make the 'platform'. Then I placed my memory foam mattress on top of that and it has been heavenly! By not using a box spring it really shows off the large headboard and looks beautiful. The bed looks very solid and the wooden feet are cool as well. We've never experienced any instability with the frame, but we made sure to add all of the extra support we thought necessary (I would not have attempted using this bed without it). The only disadvantage to this bed is the upholstery can be pierced fairly easily and if you have pets or children it wouldn't be the bed for you. Even the side rails are upholstered and it's just the right height for a child or animal to prop themselves up on. Other than that, I highly recommend this bed! You won't be disappointed! On a side note: When the bed was first shipped, the headboard box was damaged and the upholstery was torn, so I contacted O.co Customer Support and they sent me another headboard right away. The 2nd was actually damaged worse than the first and O.co sent me a third headboard that they packed up even better and thankfully it arrived safely! I have to say that O.co customer support has been THE BEST customer support that I have ever dealt with and this is another reason I will continue to come back! Thank you so much O.co!

I've had this bed for just over a year and it has broken beyond repair due to the low quality of the wood within the bed. The side rails screw into the headboard and footboard and since the quality of the wood was so bad, the screw holes became "stripped" and the screws were able to just fall out. This happened in multiple places and cannot be repaired. Two average sized people sleep in this bed so it's not as if there was excessive weight that would cause this to happen. It is unfortunate because I love how the bed looks but if you plan on sleeping in it, I would not buy it.

This item was delivered on time but unfortunately, the footboard had a puncture in it. Upon reporting this, a new footboard was sent out and received very quickly. The frame was easy to assemble and looks great. I took the advice from other reviews and added additional slats for support. The slats provided were definately not adequate.

just received the bed - Overstock delivery was very quick even at this time of the year - the bed is beautiful; hard to tell it is faux leather. What's also nice is that the headboard is very well padded so comfortable to lean against

The bed is asthetically pleasing and easy to assemble (it took me about an hour, and I'm not very crafty), but only 3 thin support slats were provided. As is, the bed mattress is bowing a bit downward and I'm afraid of breaking the slats when I move. I have already coordinated with a local hardware store to pick up extra support slats in a few days. Once I install them, I believe the bed will be stable. In summary, this is a nice bed but be sure to budget time and price of purchasing and installing extra support slats when purchasing this bed.

My son loves his new bed! Great product for the money. Parts were damaged in route and sent back to the company before it was delivered. I had a new box of parts in less than a week with no hassel. The bed was easy to put together and it looks amazing!

This bed is fantastic. I was a little worried by some of the reviews i read, but decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did. The bed was easy to assemble. Took 20 minutes by myself. There is no squeaking or rocking. It is very solid. I weigh a little over 200lbs and i can even jump on the bed with no worries. I'm not sure what the other people were complaining about, but it obviously wasn't the same product that I received. trust me, you will not be disappointed.

The quality of this product is very poor and I had a bad experience, where the product was shipped incomplete. I would suggest not buying furniture from overstock; this is my second bed that I bought from them and neither product was good,

I reviewed several bed sets prior to making my choice. I was totally amazed upon arrival to see the like was on point. The quality of the materials were astonishing. It was easy to assemble and look great in my guest bedrooom.

Bed looks just like the picture. Upholstery material is attractive but not very thick. Mine arrived promptly and in good condition, but others have said it was punctured in transit. It wouldn't take much. The queen size bed comes with exactly three (3) slats that hold the mattress. Each slat has a leg going down to the floor. If you will be using a box spring, this will probably be enough support. I planned to use a foam mattress and no box spring, so clearly not enough for that. I put 1/2" plywood over the slats. Bed is remarkably stable when set up - no creaking. Takes a while to put together mostly because of tiny allen wrench and long screws. An electric screwdriver/drill would make that go faster. Here are some dimensions that I would have liked to see in the description: distance from the floor to the bottom of the side rail = 4", distance from the floor to the top of the mattress support = 10". In other words, 10" plus the height of your mattress (and box spring) will be the height of your bed.

The bed supports is not good, doesn't hold weight to good. If you do purchase buy yourself better support to hold up over the years

Very nice bed. Very sturdy. Very easy to put together. Great color. If you aren't using a box spring (like me), you will need to buy a couple additional slats. I bought (2) 5 foot 1x4 boards and (2) 9.25" 2x4 boards. I screwed the 2x4s to the center of the 1x4 boards to make a center support. The 1x4s are wide enough that you don't even need to screw them into the bed frame. This worked very well. It only cost me $$$ and took about 10 minutes.

The color matches my espresso (dark brown) bedroom furniture nicely and looks good. Set up was easy enough and the bed seems solid even without extra slats like others said they added. My concern is the overall height of the bed once assembled. The picture on the site is deceptive -- I was under the impression that the side rails and footboard hid most of the boxspring. Leaving only the mattress visible on top. This is not the case, and having a full high height mattress and boxspring puts the whole bed up really high. It's now almost comically high – Like I need a little step stool to get up. lol I suppose a low profile boxspring would work in my case, but the listing picture really threw me off (there is no box spring in that preview image). Some thing for everyone else to consider before buying, I guess.

The queen size bed is very good. I like it. However, we have made a mistake before buying it. We have not checked how many slats it has. It comes with only 3 slats. As we will use the memory foam as the bedding. 3 slats are not strong enough to support the nmemory foam. So, I have to go to a hardware store to buy the materials to make extra slats. As meomory foam is very popular now, will it be better if the vendor can provide more slats to buyers? Or the vendor make a note telling buyers the number of slats included in the slaes?

This bed is very easy to assemble, pretty sturdy and good quality. The leather part is very soft, my guests love it! Great buy! :)

When ordering make sure you write or tell the order taker this: PLEASE PLEASE INCLUDE THE CORRECT HARDWARE SO THAT I MAY PUT THE FRAME TOGETHER CORRECTLY....and one more thing....ASK OR WRITE PLEASE PLEASE INCLUDED THE DIRECTIONS...so that you are able to put your bed rame together correctly.
