Customer Reviews
I got these curtain rods because I was tired of the same old boring ones that are available in department stores. They certainly are not boring. I was initially surprised by how heavy they are, but the kit that comes with them includes wall anchors so that they don't pull out of the wall. They really look nice, and can go with lots of different decors. The center open diamond on the ends, lightens up the feel. Pros: Very medieval luxurious feel, go really well with fabrics that have a rich feel (like raw silks) or some gold threads in them. I am using them just with two curtains scarves/valences and they look great. Very sturdy--no bowing in the middle. Cons: Although the semi-rough finish is part of the appeal, I find it a little too rough. Rods are quite heavy. However, depending on your decorating style, I would recommend these to anyone looking for something different and esthetically pleasing.
