This little chest is beautiful, functional, well-built, and a conversation piece ........ all rolled into one! I especially appreciate the ease of opening and closing the drawers. It's a very sturdy, all-wood piece; and the fact that the back is also completely finished is an unexpected plus. The carving is absolutely gorgeous - I love this item!!
This is a really cute piece of furniture. Keep in mind that the width is at the widest point, not the surface area on top. It was smaller on top than I expected, but it is still adorable and I will use it to hold a lamp in a different location than what I had planned for it as a nightstand. The drawers can hold small books or magazines, remote control, glasses, etc. It is a pretty lightweight piece, moves easily and comes assembled and well packed.
I received this chest in a few days after it was ordered. It was packed very well and all I had to do was lift the chest out of the box and there is was. I love it.
