Looks fine overall, though a few of the pieces inside are nailed on a bit crooked.We're glad we took another reviewer's suggestion to remove the door before installing on the wall, definitely made it easier.Now the only problem is, I need more jewelry!

After watching my wife struggle with jewelry cases and bags for 15 years and just ending up with a tangled mess of twisted up chains, something needed to be done ... if this sounds familiar, then buy this unit.The unit is well built with the standard furniture wood, but it is finished nicely with no flaws. The outside case is built strong, hardware is standard kitchen cupboard type. The mirror is flawless with proper thick glass and is not "wavy" to look in at all. There is a lock on the case which is perfect for us and strong enough to keep prying eyes and small kids out, but of course not strong enough to be considered safe in a break in.The inside of the unit is fully covered with black fuzzy material. All hooks and pieces of wood are screwed in so if for any reason you want to reconfigure the case or add additional hooks it is very easy to do so with minimal handyman skills.There is room for about 70 rings, 50 or more chains and you could double up each hook if needed. There are about 30 spots for miscellaneous items like broaches and pins. With a small hook kit from your local hardware store you can easily add to this. There is also a small but deep tray the sit on the bottom shelf for additional miscellaneous items.Pros: Massive amounts of storage with no tanglesCons: NoneTips:- Remove the mirrored door for easier installation as the unit is heavy to hold while installing- Mount to studs in the wall or buy proper wall anchors rather than the silly plastic plugs included- If the lock unit does not lock properly like mine did, just carefully bend the lock bar slightly back so it fits in the groove properly, makes more sense when you see it. Mine works perfectly now.

This jewelry armoire is very nice! The price was right, it was delivered in a timely fashion and the quality is very impressive.It was fairly easy to hang. We didn't use the plastic mollies that were included, but decided to use our own metal mollies instead (since it is so heavy).It holds lots of jewelry and I'm very happy that I can finally keep everything in one place for easy access. The fact that it can be locked is also a bonus.

I'd wanted this armoire since I saw it in a popular home goods catalog. Being able to get it at Overstock.com for about 1/2 the price was great! It arrived within days of ordering it and was exactly what I expected. I love being able to see all my jewelry at a glance! My husband was able to hang it in less than an hour. It took a little bit of time for me to remove the bits of packing styrofoam from the nice, black velvet lining...but oh well! I only wish there was more room to hang earrings, but maybe I have too many pairs!

The jewerly armoire was a great value for the purchase price. Plenty of room to store all types of jewerly. This was a present for our daughter and she loved it! Little difficult to hang without a number of people to hold the armoire up. Locking device leaves alot to be desired - don't really want to lock it every time. Would have liked a device to lock when needed. Plenty of hooks for necklaces! Would have liked a storage spot for pierced earrings. Would recommend this product.

I ordered the jewelry armoire and received it with in a few days. When I opened the box, I immediately loved the armoire. I love the color of the oak wood and the character of the wood. There is alot of space in this armoire. I am very, very please with this purchase and would highly recommend this armoire. It is very heavy and has to be hung on studs. The studs in our home and the hangers on the back of the armoire did not line up. My husband ended up finding a stud. He put several screws in the inside and through the back of the armoire growing down the stud to hang it. With the black velvet lining and black screws, it's barely even noticeable. It is wonderful to open the door and see all your jewelry at one time. I hope you'll enjoy your armoire and much as I enjoy mine!!! Husbands, this would be a great gift to surprise your wife with. I truely believe she will love it!!!

These items usually retail for $350 and up. All nice woods. Wasn't a perfect match to my bedroom set but definitely close enough. LOTS of places to hang and post jewelry on, etc. It's really great to see all of my jewelry at a glance. Cabinet is more narrow than I imagined but true to dimensions listed. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!

This is the best jewelry "box" I have every owned. I love the mirror on the front and the inside is perfect. Now I can find what I want to wear each day and nothing is hidden or tangled. I really need another one for the other side of the bed. The bedroom set is oak and has pier cabinets. I have a new look on the side with the new jewelry armoire! Don't hesitate to order this if you love your jewelry!

I really like this piece. Very attractive, lots of space. How many people don't see half of what they have because it is buried at the bottom of the jewelry box? This allows all of your items to be spread out and visible. My only caveat is the weight of the armoire. Wood weighs. Make sure you have a location to mount it to the wall that has appropriate studs/ anchoring/ etc. Smokin' hot price, too. I shopped around and would have paid double anywhere else.

I love this and it is beautiful with one tiny exception. In the description it says "distressed plantation oak finish" and "wormwood 'imperfections" add character. Well I didn't know what that meant. What it means is that the finish is not smooth and there are tiny little holes in the wood in certain places. You can actually see the holes in the photo slightly above and below the key hole. With that being said, it is a lovely product, well built and beautiful (except those darn holes!). I took the advice of another person and took off the door when I hung the mirror and it made it TONS lighter and easier. There is black plush velvet on the inside where the jewelry goes. So nice!

This is what I had been looking for. I was hesitant to purchase it w/o seeing it in person, but decided to take the plunge. It is pretty much as descibed. It looks nice and it stores my jewelry so I can see it quickly and choose what I want to wear.

I have tried keeping my jewellery organized on my dresser for years. I don't have a tonne, but enough, that it would sit in piles, and difficult to find. The cabinet arrived completely assembled and all I had to do was install it on the wall. I still haven't been able to remove all of the adhesive from the mirror, but otherwise, I am exceptionally pleased with the cabinet. I opened it up the other day, oot certain what earrings to wear, and I could all that I own sitting on one side of the cabinet. I have already shown it off to my friends -- I would highly recommend it.

This is a lovely piece, and what a relief to not have to untangle my necklaces or search for earrings. The color is darker than I expected--more like pecan than oak. I took the advice of someone else's review and removed the door (which is the heaviest part) before mounting on the wall. This made the task so much easier than it would have been otherwise, and the door was very easy to put back on. I also took an extra precaution: installed two small brackets on the wall at bottom and set the armoire on top of that before drilling the holes for mounting. This provided better stability and ease in mounting, and it spreads out the weight over a larger area of wall.

Not well made. lot's of scratches on the wood, cheap wood and workmanship. Will do the job but if it was constructed better with better materials it would have been great. Too expensive for what you get.

It was even better to see. It holds loads of jewelry and I even added more hooks myself. I'm very pleased with it. It looks great on the wall too behind my bedroom door. Just love it!!

I had been looking for a large armoire for my wife for a while. Wanted something that was designed to hold more than just the normal 8-10 necklaces. This is perfect. Well built and heavy. The color and worm wood imperfections are a very good match to our bedroom suite, another plus. Plus takes up no floor space, has a mirror (full length view) and won't get bumped into.

Very nice for all my jewelry. I can finally have everything in one place and feel safe that it is bolted to the wall and can lock! Putting on the wall is a little awkward, takes two people, it is very heavy.

I hung my armoire but have not filled it with jewelry yet... we'll see if it holds what I own. I'm very happy with the appearance of the outside, but I think the workmanship on the inside leaves a little to be desired. For example, the top wood slat with jewelry hooks is slightly crooked and the screws in the door hinge are installed on an angle. They were difficult to remove to take the door off. I don't mean to sound picky but those details are important to me. I mounted the unit by myself with no trouble. I removed the door first (be careful taking the brass screws out... they're soft metal and easily stripped). The weight of the door would have made it much more difficult! I used the thin styrofoam packing sheet (the same size as the armoire) to position the unit and mark the holes for the screws. I mounted the unit with larger screws and anchors. The screws that are included are much too small for the weight of the armoire. I'm very pleased with the look of the oak and the mirror. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I would recommend this product to anyone who has a ton of jewelry and wants to consolidate it into one location. I'd been keeping all my jewelry amongst 3 smaller jewelry boxes and now I never have to wonder where a certain pair of earring are or where that ring went. The only warning I have is that is very heavy - I would make sure that where you decide to mount it has a stud and it definately takes two to mount.
