I had a large cleaner that did the job, but it was a big heavy machine and very cumbersome to move and store. This machine is great because it's lightweight, slightly smaller, but does just as great as a job as the big one I owned. One feature I really like, is that you can remove the front plastic part where fuzz, lint, hair, etc. gather when cleaning, and wash it out. I was not able to do this with my other cleaner. It's a great cleaner for the basic household carpet cleaning.

When reading the reviews I read only one bad review, it was about the quality of the plastic. Turns out the plastic is NOT terribly cheap. I mean its a vacuum not a kids toy. Cannot express how great this item is, my upstairs is cream colored berber carpeted (approx 1,000 sq ft) I did the entire upstairs just before bed in 30+ minutes and it was dry by the next morning. It removed ALL the spots (3 cats , a dog and a husband). Although the cleaner is on the smaller side for the actual time it took and the quality of the cleaning I will use this as my carpet cleaning source, no more commercial cleaners and no more renting a machine. Seeing it is light weight and store rather compact I will also use for quick spot cleaning.

For weeks I'd been hearing my husband complain about the carpet and how dirty it was, how our landlord probably hadn't cleaned it before we moved in, how easily it became soiled, on and on. One day he fell asleep watching the home network; they had a rinky-dink looking cleaner there and I thought it would be a good idea to have one to clean the carpet and tidy up after spills and such. I don't have any children, but we wear our shoes inside at all times and the carpet is incredibly old and had plenty of stains when we got the apartment, but this machine did a pretty good job of getting them out. The only down side is it did not suction most of the water out of the carpet, a gallon of water went in and at most a quarter gallon came back out. I believe this is because of my landlord's frugality; he used generic office carpet with those plastic-feeling tight-twisted loops instead of the kind of carpet most of us want at home. Still, it was dry by the end of the day, and much much cleaner. I'm satisfied with this product just fine.

Mine came very quickly in the mail and appeared new and came with all equipment as well as a bottle of carpet cleaner. Unfortunately the plastic piece on the front was cracked which would not allow for suction. I would dispense all the solution and water yet the collection basin would not fill. It was all in my carpet instead :( Overstock provided a full refund and free shipping return. My broken machine may have been a fluke and it was handled well. They were out of stock and not able to replace this product for me. I ended up finding a nicer series for about the same price at my local store, refurbished.

This Deep Cleaner is strictly ok. I read a lot of positive reviews about this one, so i bought it, but the screws in the back dont fit into their holes correctly, its just a manufacturing defect and also ,the whole unit is made of cheap plastic, one feels it can break on you , if it falls accidentally on the floor. so im not terribly impressed

The plastic hose holder used to hang the hose and hold the attachment broke off almost immediately. It utilized small plastic "hooks" of a very inferior design. I drilled holes and attached the hanger with screws as had been designed on the lower hose guide and everything works fine. I was disappointed in the fact that I had to "retro fit" the hanger as everything else seems to be of excellent quality. Sometimes one small flaw can ruin an otherwise reliable product. If I was not able to fix the problem I probably would have been forced to return the cleaner. Additional note: If you select "Join Club O" prior to submitting your review you loose all your entries. Perhaps you would be better off displaying that option after users select "Submit Review".

I love everything about it! It doesn't make alot of noice, but enough to scare my dogs.. Make sure to adjust the knob to use the tools or the floor cleaner. I thought mine was broken when I first got it and then relized it wasn't turned to the floor cleaner. Easy to take the water container out and easy to snap back in. Very light and not hard to push. After each use, take off the front end plastic and clean it out or else the water won't flow through easy. Cleaned my car seats. This machine is great!

I order from Overstock regularly with no problems, so I was disappointed when I received this item and saw that the plastic section on the front was cracked all over and was even missing pieces that had broken off. This did not happen during shipping, as the missing, cracked off pieces were not in the box. Unfortunately, this piece is what sends out the soap and sucks it back up. The good news is that I registered the item with the manufacturer's site and discovered that the broken part was easily replaceable. I called them up and they shipped me out a replacement part ($14.99) for free. So now it works fine! You get a 90 day warranty on the refurbished item with the manufacturer, so be sure to sign up. When you do, you are able to purchase additional attachments that are well priced and handy! You will get 10% off and free ground shipping. I'm just so happy that I didn't have to figure out how to return this huge item because of one part! Very happy!
