I bought two different styles of Caroline rugs within a week of each other because I liked them so much! After weeks of sticker shock from shopping around for rugs for my house, I looked online and overstock.com had a great selection. I needed large rugs for my house but didn't want to pay a small fortune for them. I have a 19-month old, a cat and dog in the house. I didn't want to feel anxious all the time about spills and pet hair. And these rugs are a perfect match for me. They are very nice to look at but not so nice that you are afraid to walk on it. I love the colors (the website pictures don't do them justice). You can't beat the price and quality. They aren't one of a kind rugs but were definitely a value to me. I also bought rug pads for these rugs from overstock.com which worked out great. I'll also take this opportunity to say that overstock.com has a great customer service department. When my second rug was shipped, it was delivered damaged. I called overstock.com and they happily helped me with my return and apologized profusely for the problem. They handled the problem quickly and sent me a replacement rug. I was so pleased with their effort because I didn't have to make any effort (other than a phone call)! And I felt like they really cared about my business. I recommend this website to all of my friends because of their great SERVICE, great selection and great prices- mostly because of the SERVICE!

I ordered the navy rug. The color is a lot darker than shown in the picture. It is a nice rich dark navy. The patern on the edge of the rug is kind of muddled and not so easy to make out. The rug itself is also thinner than what I was hoping for. It will definately need a carpet pad under it. I have another more expensive area rug in my dinning and you can see a huge difference between the two rugs. But considering the price I paid for it it was a pretty good deal. With three small children I would rather have this rug than a more expensive one in our living room. I would be a lot more upset if they spilled juice on a $700 rug then this one. That being said this rug will do until my kids are old enough and I can get a higher quality rug. If you are looking for a practical, functional rug this is it but if you are looking for elegance and quality keep looking.

I ordered the sage green rug which, as other reviewers pointed out, is not the same shade as the picture. But it is a lovely shade of green--not too bright, but a nice, subdued, comforting color. It works great in my dining room and is very easy to clean. I suggest buying the good rug pad that Overstock recommends. Their recommendation is also the 8' x 11' rug pad for the 8' x 10' rug which is right on since the rug pad is only slightly bigger than the 8' x 10' rug. It's better to trim a few inches than to have a rug pad not be large enough. You won't be disappointed if your order this rug.

Great rug, excellent quality, and a steal at this price. Delivered in under 1 week. I ordered the Burgundy and was initially disappointed as it is a very, very dark Burgundy. However I have been looking for a rug in my livingroom which has purple as a dominant color and this rug fits in fabulously. Now I am off to peruse the other OS rugs for something with more red for the room this one was intended for!

Just received my carpet and I love it. I was nervous buying a carpet online, but I couldn't be happier. It is so nice, nice quality...I was worried it would look like a computer print, but absolutely, it does not. It is soft and makes the room look bigger as we had a smaller rug there before. We received the rug within a week of ordering, even w/ a Monday holiday. The other things I ordered with the rug did not arrive yet. Got the black, it has maroonish and olive green accents with the ivory.Looks great with our dark brown leather! Also, got ten percent off total purchase for being a new customer, look online for coupons..

Great Value for the money! The colors are beautiful and clear. Often in this range the pattern is blurred or "muddy" - absolutely not the case with this carpet. It is mid to light weight which is what I was looking for.. The construction is quite good. I am very, very pleased.

Nice looking rug! I bought the green, red and black, love the colors and the rugs looks much more expensive than what I paid for it. I also received a coupon in my email for 15% off throw rugs after I just bought them two days earlier. I called customer service to see if they would give me the difference since I just bought the throw rugs. They were very nice and refunded me the 15%. I ordered this rug for my dining room. It is absolutely beautiful. I recently purchased another rug for my den from a local store at a much higher price. The only difference is that it is a little thicker than the Emerlen rug. If I had known about the Emerlen rug at that time, I would have purchased it instead. Beautiful rug, good quality, excellent price.

I just received my Caroline Sarouk Emerlen rug. We are remodeling our living room and I was worried about buying this without seeing it. I ordered the 7'9" x 11' rug in Ivory, it is very nice. What a great surprise, it was so nice looking that my husband and I decided to buy another one and a runner for our family room as well. It took twelve days for delivery, that is my only complaint.

I've had these rugs for 5 years and they are keeping up in great color and performace. probably another 5 more years to come!Easy to clean!

I have had these rugs for several years now with cats and one dog and they still look great. They are very well made and the colors are still just as rich as they were when I got them. I vacuum them once weekly and they have held up so well with that small amount of care. I bought the black background because of my pets. I would expect that the other colors are probably just as good as the black is. I highly recommend these rugs.

This rug is a lot thinner than I thought it would be. You can likely get the same quality rug at Home Depot et. al. for around the same price, and have the benefit of seeing it before buying. I likely wouldn't have bought this if I knew it would be this thin. However, colors (black) are nice, and looks as if it will hold up with 3 kids and 2 dogs. Also, the rug's width is 7' 7.5", not 7' 9" as indicated - not a big deal for me, but could be for someone who is counting on exact measurements.

I was unsure of whether or not I should purchase this rug. But I was redecorating my Bedroom because I was having a Christmas Eve Party in my house. I can't tell you how many compliments I recieved from my guests. The rug is lovely., looks much more expensive than what I paid for it and it compliments my bedroom. It brought everything together.. Kudos to overstock..This was a great deal...I just ordered another rug from them yesterday..

Its a good practical rug. Also value for money but not super value when compared to other things on OS.com. I'm pleased but question its use in a small room. These things are pretty big so bear it in mind. Think it will stand up to some abuse and easy to clean. Would give it 3.5 stars its good but for the price it could be matched elsewhere but not with shipping at OS. Its alot of rug. Don't think you can be disappointed with the Italian made piece of rug real estate.

I ordered the ivory and its great. Arrived less than 48 hrs. of ordering it. I would highly recommend this rug. It is not as plush as some rugs but you can't beat the value.

We bought two rugs, one for the bedroom and one for the living room both 9x11 and they are great! They look good, are comfortable to sit on and walk across with bare feet, and the best part, they didn't cost $800 or $900 like a lot of the rugs we looked at. I would definitely recommend these rugs if you are looking for something attractive and affordable to cover your floors. We have noticed some slight variations in color but it's really quite minimal and I would imagine at this price you couldn't find anything better. Hope this helps.
