Caroline Sarouk Emerlen Rug (6'7 x 9'6)

While this rug appears to be well-made, I question the use of 'sage' to describe the actual color of the rug I purchased. The photo does look like sage (a nice greyish-green), but the rug is actually more a deep olive green. Because of that, this rug will be used in our library and not in our dining room, as originally planned. Still, the quality is good and the shipping incredibly fast.

Great first experience with overstock. I needed 2 matching rugs plus a runner - everything else I found in this size (slightly bigger than 5x8) was MUCH more expensive. These are thick and the colors are a very pretty beige (darker than ivory) and burgundy. They look perfect in my adjoining living room & dining room.

I ordered the Caroline Sarouk Emerlen rug in Ivory in the 6'7 x 9'6 size as well as two runners and 2 small 3'3 x 4'11 rugs. I am very happy with the colors in the rug. The "Ivory" really is not ivory, but sort of a creamy light biege. The rug also has a deep burgandy, sage green, taupe and a little bit of black as accent to the other colors. It is a low pile, so if you want to "sink into a rug" this is not the rug for you. I wanted area rugs as my old rugs were dingy and my daughter was getting married so I wanted the house to look nice. The rugs light colors made the room look larger and looked beautiful against my dark brown leather sofa. They are soft to the feel and really look wonderful! They arrived within days of the order and I was able to track the delivery online. Once they came and I placed them in the room, my old dining room rug (which I thought was in good shape) really looked bad. So, I went back on Overstock and ordered the 5'5 x 7'7 in Burgandy. The Burgandy rug has all the same colors as the Ivory rug and it complemented the Ivory rugs beautifully. The wedding was in Oct. 2009 and the rugs really made the rooms look nice. I was hesitant to order rugs online, and read every single review before I ordered them. I am very happy with these purchases.

I love my new rug! It arrived in less than a week and I am very pleased with the colors. I wasn't sure from the pictures on line if it was going to work but it looks great. The size of the rug is really why I purchased it...as it is not easy to find a rug in this size. Thank you Overstock.com!
