I was in the market for a new bedroom set for my 10 year old daughter and have been visiting upper end furniture stores for months. I kept coming online and looking at this site and reading the reviews and kept thinking this was the perfect set. I took a chance and could not be more thrilled! I always shop on overstock, but never for such a major purchase...I was worried, because I am picky and didn't want the hassle of having to find a way to return this if need be. This 5 piece set BLOWS AWAY the major furniture stores as far as quality and pricing. A 5 piece set was going for over $3,000 at one store, and it was still a combination of hardwood and veneers. This set is SOLID WOOD..and extremely heavy! It comes fully assembled and all you have to screw on are the bun feet that comes with all of the dressers. I will admit that I had difficulty with the railings for the bed, and it took quite a while to get them in, but an hour or so later it was perfect. There was also a slight, slight crack in the decorative feature in the center of the headboard, and I contacted Overstock about this and they were willing to replace it, but it was very slight and I didn't want to wait. This set is soooo worth the money and looks like it costs way more than it did. VERY sturdy set and I'm sure this will take her through high-school and beyond.

We were looking for a white set for our Florida house, needless to say we got a beautiful, afordable, solid wood set for more than half off the store prices in the Keys. It fits our decor beautifully and eventhough it is a little heavy to get up stairs (the freight company wouldn't move it up our 13 stairs) i would totally buy it again. It is BEAUTIFUL!!

I was shopping around for a couple months looking for a new bedroom set. I decided to check out overstock and saw this set. It was exactly what I was looking for without costing me a fortune. The bedroom set is made of solid wood and is very durable. I could not be more pleased with my purchase. Definitely would recommend this set to anyone.

I was apaprehensive about ordering furniture online sight unseen, but the good review swayed me. This was for a starter apaartment, so budget was a key factor, and the price was great. The furniture arrived in just two weeks after ordering, and was very well packed with styrofoam and plastic wrap, and then a box surrounding the furniture. The boxes were rather beat up, but the styrofoam saved the furniture. It was delivered to my house as my daughter couldn't be at her apartment for delivery, so it got moved again, this time without the boxes (much easier). That furniture was quite heavy, drawers slid smoothly, and we simply had to screw in the feet and it was complete. All knobs were individually wrapped in plastic so they weren't scratched up, and the finish was quite smooth. If you are extremely picky, the drawers don't slide on rollers like the high end furniture, but they don't stick and wobble like the cheaper furniture stores models. Also, the color was more of a milky white than a pure white, but we were going for that look, so we can honestly say there wasn't one thing wrong with this purchase. Buy this set with confidence - it's a whole lot of bang for the buck!

This set looks fabulous against my richly colored walls. The companion pieces are larger than I expected, which is good because one of the reasons we needed a new bedroom set was for all our STUFF. The set is mostly, but not 100%, hardwood construction. The drawers are on metal runners and move smoothly. The backing on the dressers is composition and not very sturdy. The bed assembled fairly easily and all we had to do to dressers was screw on feet and mirror. Neither my husband nor I am petite, but I'm confident the bed is plenty sturdy. It's not top of the line furniture, but a great value for the price. One of the dressers was damaged (composition backing, among other things) when we opened the box, which hadn't looked bad at all. I contacted OS via online chat and they responded within a couple days that they would send a replacement. They did ask for pictures documenting the damage, which was cool; I don't blame 'em.

I love the entire set, very satisfied. It is well manufactured, very good finish and arrived with no problems as promised. It don't get much better than that..

I bought the set for my 7 year old and I am very pleased with it. The color is an off white which is nice. The construction is typical for furniture built over seas but is better than a majority of builders. There are no sliding rails on either side of the drawers but the slide easily with help from rails mounted under the drawers and with help from plastic grommets that the edges of the drawer slides on. The drawers slid easier after I ran a bead of all purpose oil along the edge of the drawer that rides against the grommets. The back inside frame that the drawer rails sit on are stapled together and I strengthened it up a little since I had the drawers out. The bed came with three boards to support the box frame which just did not seem enough so I board a few boards from the hardware store.With all that said this is a nice set for the price and the extra stuff I did to it is only so I can ensure I do not have to buy my daughter a set for a while. I would recommend this set to anyone and I would definitely buy furniture from Overstock again.

I am really pleased with this set. The quality was beyond my expectations. The furniture is very sturdy and heavy. It looks really nice in my daughters room. The bed only took 10 minutes to put together and the dressers come assembled except for the bottom of the legs. The drawers are dove tailed, which makes it really nice. The shipment was really fast too. I am very happy with my purchase.
