Bought this sofa about 1 year ago. Contrary to previous reviews, I didn't find it so hard to assemble. Sofa looks OK and is OK for the price. Yet I saw 2 important drawbacks: first, the separation between the two parts of the mattress makes a hole in the middle of the couch when the sofa is in bed position. And second, mine did not live so long. After 6 months, some of the sutures disrupted, and worse, some of the springs turned bad, which makes it pretty unconfortable for sitting.I may precise that I use the sofa primarily for sitting (everyday use) and seldon as a bed (around 10 times a year). I did not bounce on it nor am I specially overweight.As a whole this sofa is a good, not so expensive one but you may not keep it very long.

My boyfriend and I were looking for an inexpensive couch that doubled as a bed for guests, so we thought this would be perfect. Although it is a little small for most living rooms, it works in our small apt. The instructions are relatively easy to follow. It took me about 45min-1hr to put together by myself. However, once it was all put together, we found that the support bar was positioned too low, causing the bottom cushion to sink down and the couch to lean forward. We had to go buy some L-brackets to screw into the bottom to keep the couch from leaning. Overall, the couch is great for the price. It is comfortable and looks nice.

the futon is not as nice as it appears to be and it was difficult to put together. Not clearly marked. It is functional but not worth the money paid. Plus when it came out of the box, it stank horribly and it just seems very poorly made. what a disappointment!!!

This futon is big and amazingly comfortable. It is also easy to fold down to a bed.

The futon within a month once converting to bed had a curve in it. Now, as a sofa it has a curve it as well. I am very disappointed after only have the futon for four months. I am going to have to trash it

We love this sofa/futon/sleeper. It has far exceeded our expectations but we read the great reviews here before purchasing and agree with all of them. This is a well made item, fairly easy to assemble and classy looking enough to be used in the living room as a standard sofa instead of the office where we've chosen to place it. It is comfortable to sit on as well as to sleep on. We shopped everywhere and this was by far the best buy around and worth much more than the price we paid. Thank you!

Hi love the couch/futon. It great to look at and very comfortable. Like all the other users said, this one is really difficult to assemble because the instructions are backwards and horrible. Took me forever to assemble because what they said didn't work or make sense. Had to kinda do it on my own. I would say only buy it if the instructions have been revised.

I bought this futon sofa because it looked good and seemed like a good value for the price. After about a month I am totally satisfied. Looks pretty sharp even though im not a huge fan of the microfiber. Its really comfortable as the cushion part of the futon is larger and more padded then I anticipated.Assembly was pretty simple. The instructions they give you are easy to follow for the most part. Some of the diagrams are a bit ambigious as far as which way the horizontal supports are supposed to go on, but it all makes sense once you check out the alignment of the screw holes in the base and the mounting brackets.My main concern with this purchase was durability as Ive gone through two futon frames previous to this, that have bent/broken due to a combination of poor craftsmanship and me being a tad bit overweight. This seems to be very sturdy, as a lot of the pressure is taken off of the frame due to the large size of the cushion piece.I shopped around and couldn't find a better bang for my buck, I would recommend this futon sofa to everyone.

I Love the way this futon looks in my guest room. It doesn't look anything like the average futon. Very comfortable! It doesn't tip at all, I'm thinking that might have been an error in how someone put it together. I put it together by myself in about an hour maybe even less.And thats with no help at all! I'd definately recommend it for anyone. It is relatively large so its not great for really small spaces. Perfect for an average sized room.

My daughter loves it. Very cushy. Folds in out out easily. Highly recommend.

The Sofa Bed Is Very Nice, And Comfortable. The Only Problem Is That The Instructions Are Backwards, And Can Be Very Difficult To Understand. I Had To Re-assemble The Way The Manufacturers Sent The Sofa Bed, But With A Little Common Sense, And Some Help, It Was Easily Put Together.

It was shipped out on time and we received the futon in just over a week. I was a little confusing to put together since I think that the pictures on the directions are pretty bad. But with a little common sense it was pretty easy. The futon looks great, it's very sturdy does not tilt at all like I read that some of the other reviews said. It's easy to fold down and it's comfortable I will recommend this to everyone I know that are looking for a futon.

This was everything it was advertized to be. The only problem was I to found it tippy. Called the manafac. and found out instructions had you put it together backwards.

I love it! It is extremely comfortable and it works perfect in our little apartment and the microfiber helps with keeping it clean from my 1 year old. However when we pulled it out of the box fabric was torn off of the armrest but we easily fixed it with a staple gun. That was the only complaint I would have other than that I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has a small apartment, loft or condo.

The sofa is very comfortable to set and sleep on. My only trouble is if you sit or sleep near the edge it will tip.

I thought that the sofa would be flat in comfort;however I was totally fooled it's the most comfortable seat ever the measurements were perfect for my spare bedroom,I am very please with the overall comfort and apperance of this sofa and I would recommend this sofa to my family and friends.

This sofa has very nice soft feel to it. It is not a deep rich black but more of slight faded like black color. However, it is serving it's purpose as a tv sofa quite well. Assembly was not too dificult and can be managed by one person. If you are need a sofa for lounging this should be on your radar.

Delivery was sooner than we anticipated...so we were very happy. The futon was fairly easy to put together, teenage boys did the work. It is extremely comfortable and have already recommended to others.

This looks just as I wanted it to...but my brother put it together and said it was difficult. One toss pillow is sewn incorrectly and the company has been notified but no resolution at this time. It is perfect for an office but a bit pricey. Parts were labeled incorrectly- if i had put this together myself I would have been very upset. In the end I do like my new sofa bed.

I've had futons before and they've been awkward, sagged, uncomfortable and never much to look at, even though they weren't cheap. So I was very hesitant to order this, but the price was right. It arrived ahead of schedule in time for a houseful of company. Assembly was straightforward though you do need someone to help. It's proven to be very comfortable for both sitting and sleeping. Everyone who used it was quite pleased. The mattress keeps in place with hooks and a frame cover so no complaints about a slipping or droopy mattress (and that mattress is quite comfy--on the softer side). My only (and very slight) disappointment is that it looks a bit rumpled. That may be from shipping, but the material is quite sturdy and nice otherwise. Seems easy to clean.
