Our car's heater broke about month ago and we have been suffering with the cold. I ordered 2 blankets (one for the front and one for the back). I got this on Monday evening (12/22/08) when I got home and used it the next morning when I went to work. It worked like a charm! I was able to keep my hands warm by alternating them with one hand on the steering wheel and one under the blanket. Except for my feet and head - I was warm. It has an automatic shutoff after a maximum time of 45 min and since I work about an hour away, I just press the reset button and it turns back on. It wasn't as big as I thought it would be. I used it length-ways to cover my legs and up my torso, but if you use it horizontally - it would be big enough to cover the mid section of 2 people. We got a splitter for our car so that we now have 2 plugs (one for each blanket) and our kids will now be warm in the back seat. I am so happy with this blanket that I plan to order another and give it for late Christmas Presents.

In an enclosed porch area, I use the blanket in replacement of an electric space heater. The power supply is a 100 AH, 12 volt battery, which is charged by a few solar panels during the day.The overstock description is accurate and the blanket is cozy as could be after about 5 minutes. Tested in temperatures as low as 45-50 degrees.The control switch confused me. I was unclear whether the blanket is on or off and for how much time it is set to operate, 30 or 45 minutes. My procedure is to plug the blanket in and then set the timer. If plugged in the blanket is operating, unless plugged in longer than the selected time limit.

This blanket is very soft and cozy. It does get warm BUT it takes a good ten plus minutes to get warm. My husband plugs it in when he starts the car to warm it up so it is half way there when he gets in the car. However, for the price it is a great deal. My aunt just bought a similar product from a major warehouse store and paid over a hundred dollars!

I purchased this blanket as a birthday gift for my mother. She often gets cold while travel, so I thought this would be the perfect gift. She recently went down to Pittsburgh, PA and took the blanket with her. She told me that it was the best gift I could have gotten her and she absolutely loves it.

this blanket is what's advertised. It would be nicer if it was a plush fleese. It is soft but a little stiff It only works with the car cigarette plug in which is ok, I'd love to see one that could be used in and out of the car. For what it is it does the job.

This blanket is fantastic for our crazy Ohio winters. It helps keep you warm while you are waiting for your vehicle to warm up. It will be great in the event of an emergency because 2 adults can use the blanket at the same time--it fits all the way across the front of the van.

Car Cozy 2 12-volt Heated Blanket with Timer - works just fine - cheaply made - but the price is right for the item. Works fine. No problems yet.

I bought this as a gift for my friend. She used it while traveling from Alabama to Illinois in Dec & loved it. I think I may buy 2 more...one for me & one for my daughter who lives in WY.

I bought this for my mother who has circulation problems and as a result is often cold. She used to use regular fleece type blankets in the car and have the heat cranked up, which is uncomfortable for other people who happen to be in the car with her. The heated blanket keeps her warmer than when the interior air is hot in the car so we are all happy!

It's very comfortable and nice. I used it during a long trip. Liked it. Too bad I don't travel more in cold winter...

We have a auto without any heat or air and this winter was very cold. We used your product instead of fixing the heat for 2500.00. The blanket has worked great and with the shut off one doesn't have to worry if they forget to turn it off once they get to where thier going.

82 year old on blood thinners rides in the back seat and is always freezing. not any more - he loves it.

I got the blanket for someone as a gift and ended up using it myself too. It takes a few minutes to heat up but once it got going it was great. It has a long cord, which is good so it can reach the back of the car. We're all happy about it.

Toasty warm! Great color and works very nicely in my Jeep! If my car breaks down, at least I'll be warm while waiting in the winter. I really like it, and the price was right!

this blanket could be larger, and maybe warmer, but the lower power draw is favorable. It is a product of decent quality and low price.
