While using this blanket it smelled like something was burning in our car. The blanket plugin had gotten so hot that you could not touch it for at least 30 minutes. This was while properly using the blanket according to the instructions as to the length of time you may leave it turned on, etc.. Other plugin devices such as cell phone, etc work OK in this 12 volt socketl, so that is not the problem. To be safe I cut off the cord with the plug and threw it away.

What a colossal disappointment!!! We bought three of these for Christmas gifts. Thank God, we tested them before giving them to anyone. Else we would have been embarrassed. Not one of the three produced any appreciable heat within 45 minutes. Great idea; but, they do not work. We sent all three back. :-(

Great for my cold passengers. The blanket starts to warm up quickly and is nice and toasty in about 5 minutes.

He could barely feel the warmth after the time limit of 45 minutes. Ran the battery down fairly quickly without producing any real benefit.

Something had been telling me to get some heated blankets for the car for this winter and I bought six of them, just in time. I've given them as gifts and kept one for myself. I've had the need to use mine twice and I am glad I had it. It is perfect for giving immediate warmth in chilly situations. I used mine just last night at an RV park where the electric didn't match my camper van. It was about fifteen degrees outside but I was comfy and cosy under the heated blanket, covered by another quilt to trap the warmth inside. It ran for 45 minutes at a time to preserve the battery. So I did wake up several times to reset it. But as a safety feature I didn't have a problem with that. This was a good choice and good value for the money.

I sent this to my parents as a Christmas gift, they live in Penn. They opened it and used it all day, driving across state lines to see family- it was incredibly snuggly on a long car trip!

Overall the blanket works Good But it only heats for 15-20 minutes then shuts off there is a reset button That will fire it back up so works great in the car to take the chill off I bought it for my semi truck to help keep me warm without running the truck when iam sleeping it doesn't work as Good as I Hoped since it wont stay heated all night but on the other hand it wont kill Your battery but is still a very Good item to have in Your car or truck

I miss my heated seats when in our economy car, so this is a great addition. It heats quickly and is very soft.

Got this for my sister for Christmas and she really loves it. It is really thick soft fleece material and heats up faster than her truck.

This was a Christmas present for my sister whose car heater had just gone out as our weather became very cold. She is in her car off and on throughout the day for her job. She was miserable until she got this blanket. She has raved about this blanket. It warms quickly, stays warm and shuts off automatically. We will probably order another for future for traveling. The price was reasonable and competative.

Recommend this product especially for us that are always cold. This product heats up fast and keeps just warm enough.

i have been looking for this blanket for sometime , i bought it for my wife because when she was riding with me the heater had to be full blast but now i don"t have to do it and i can breathe cool air instead of blasting hot air. the service was fast and it still works. you saved my life.thanks

It was just as described. I like the automatic shut off. I use it in my RV. Nothing like getting in to a warm bed when it is cold outside.

We got this as a gift. I bought 2 just in case I'd like one. Glad I did. The kids love it. They don't have to freeze until the heater kicks in. Good thickness to the blanket. good price, too

I bought this for my 3 y.o. son to use while waiting in line to pick up his sister at school. The weather is cold early this year in the South and I don't like leaving my vehicle running to have heat. It does take a good 5-8 minutes to get the blanket to warm up. It doesn't get hot, but it's toasty and is a good alternative rather than burning fuel to stay warm. Wish I thought my battery would handle two plugged in because I'd order another for me!

Even in a heated car last weekend in the mountains, the blanket was just right. It is just warm enough to feel good on my legs and lap. I really bought 4 for the grandkids to use in the rear ofthe car. It is a perfect size for two kids to share .I would recommend this blanket for anyone .

Haven't had chance to really plug and checkout the heat output of this product (Been Too Hot this Summer), although I feel it will function as expected for use intended (crosscountry roadtrip during winter months), Primary user will be my spouse. Visual inspection of product is of excellent quality, very well made. Will submit additional comment in future after actual use of this product.
