even very picky friends (decor/design-wise) thought it was from chain furniture store like Crate & Barrel. this is a perfect table for a small space like studio apt. or tiny eat-in-kitchen/nook area. the top is ample enough to have a real dinner for 4 and the seats are wide & comfy enough to sit with ease. the wood is a tad darker than expected but it's perfect for what it's worth. glass top make room look bigger. it's a very chic piece of furniture. counter height is perfect.I put it together in a matter of 3 hours but needed an extra hand to tighten up my work. you might want to have a drill with screwdriver bit handy but if not, it's nothing a little muscle can't handle at the very end.
Everything about this purchase went well. Though the pub set was to be sent within 6 weeks it arrived within a few days of purchase. It came in one large box and there was no damage to the box or its contents. The delivery person even brought the box directly to my apartment on the 18th floor! The person who put the dinette set together stated that the directions were easy to follow, and he was able to put it together by himself within an hour. The final result looks exactly like the picture! It is beautiful, very sturdy, and looks a lot more expensive than the purchase price! It is a definite conversation piece and fits perfectly in my small living room. I am sooo very happy with my pub set!
beautiful table... takes time to put together (table, four stools) however, everything is common sence.. everyone who sees the table always comments on the cool appearance

Just received it yesterday. It took some time to put it together but one of the easiest furniture products we have come across. It serves its purpose of saving us space in the kitchen eating nook. Though rich in color-It doesn't look like it. Mine has a dark spot on the table top where its seemed together and now has a scratch along a leg from sliding the bottom brace down on it while putting it together. However, I bought it for its function and I think I will get a lot of compliments out of just that. The kids took right to it and we now sit closer together while talking.
