Capria 5-piece Counter-height Pub Set

The first issue I ran into was the delivery of the product. Living in a townhouse, when I read the delivery requirements, I understood it to mean that it would not be delivered to an area in the house that meant carrying it up stairs. Unfortunately, I have a few steps that lead up to my townhouse and that was an issue for the delivery man. He told me in no uncertain terms that "he don't do no lifting" and went further to say "Didn't you read the oversize delivery policy?". He acted as though he wanted to leave it on the sidewalk and I told him that if we could not work something out, then I would be happy to call customer service and cancel but that I would not sign for it if he decided to leave it on the curb. I told him my grown son would help him and he hemmed and hawed some more but in the end, my son helped steady the large package on his dolly as they brought it over the grass and into my front door. Once inside, I moved the package in my living room in order to open and assemble and I'm 56, so while I couldn't lift it I could still maneuver it. Having read all the posts, I was careful as I unpacked it taking inventory. I had my drill ready with philips head to screw gun it together, it turned out to be a hex wrench affair...bummer. However, I took my time, and got everything together and at the very end, 2 washers were missing. I made two out of a old credit card. I like the set now that it's up. It's good for a smaller space and probably for someone like me, who generally has grown visitors simply because it's the height of a pub table which would make it hard for kids to reach and eat on. The fact that it is compact yet classy looking has it's appeal and although other reviews mentioned the stools being unsteady, I don't find that at all. They are a good size for any size buttocks but make sure you assemble them correctly and use the leveling leg to level them. All the small annoyances put aside, I'm happy with the set for the price. I like the bill me later option.

I am very pleased with this set. I wanted a table for the corner of our living room that we could play board games on and use as extra seating when we had family over. I love that the stools fit completly under the table so that they do not take up extra room. It is also very classy looking and the stools are comfortable to sit on. The table and chairs were easy to assemble. Customer service was excellent. One of the stools was recieved with a chip in the finish. I called Overstock and they said that they would send out a replacement. It was the week of Christmas, so I figured that it would add extra time to getting the replacement. I was delighted to recieve the replacement stool within days! My only warning would be that you watch the pricing, as it tends to fluctuate. I paid $$$ for the set. A week after I recvieved it, they had it on sale for $$$.

easy to assemble, nice looking, nice alternative to all the square bar tables and stools, these fit nicely under giving you room to get around, esp. if you haave limited space or want wide walking areas around the kitchen.
