works great
I have this unit and have had no trouble...I think the other reviewer is obviously doing something wrong. Read the directions carefully before trying to grind coffee. Burr grinders operate differently than blade grinders.

Stuck on coffee?
A good coffee bean grinder is essential to that aroma-filled cup first thing in the morning. Since my old grinder ground its last, I researched grinders on the 'net, and decided I needed a burr grinder for even grinding. This grinder seemed to fit the bill, and is reasonable in cost. However, it stopped working after 2 average-sized grindings. The place where the newly-ground coffee slides into the container was blocked with grounds. I cleaned it, and ground another batch. That batch clogged the opening, too. I like coffee too much to fiddle with the grinder after or during each grinding.
