Cappuccino ''Connect-It'' Computer Desk

This is truly an amazing desk. There is a power strip built in the back and it allows you to connect all your portable devices to the front drawer. All of my mobile devices are now neatly charging at my desk. I can keep my eye on them and see how much charge is left. This is a brilliant idea and keeps everything organized. No tangles, no hassle. LOVE IT!

The desk itself is fine, once you get it put together. The wood parts were labeled. None of the other parts were. The screws and such aren't so much of a big deal because it's easy to figure out with a ruler how long they are to match up with the part number. More of a pain with the brackets and so on, because some look similar but are not the same. Screws were of soft metal. Some of them stripped with (low speed) electric screwdriver, had to re-tap them and screw some by hand. After putting together two other overstock items I recently purchased that had EVERYTHING properly labeled and that were designed for easy assembly, this was a disappointment. The overall labeling scheme was poor and this was not designed for easy assembly. I'm not saying that it requires an engineering degree, but I shouldn't have to look and compare parts to a tiny part depiction on a tiny piece of paper and squint to see how many holes it has on the paper to make sure it's the same one. I just like assembly of my pre-drilled furniture to be simple and fast, as efficient as possible. This was not that.

I love my new home office desk. This is perfect for my iPhone and my wife's blackberry plus my son has a PSP and this charges them all really organized. What a smart idea and it's all in one drawer. Why someone did not think of this earlier. This reminds me of a desk at the hotels where they outlet is hidden. So smart and great quality. The price was even perfect. I love working at the desk everyday. Great deal.

Exactly what we were looking for in a desk! Sturdy construction. Fairly easy to assemble. Good amount of storage for deak items. Only problem was that the box busted during delivery and some of screws were missing. Not too much trouble to replace them.
