Cappuccino 48-inch Long Computer Desk
I know that at this price the pieces are always made up of particle board and fake wood but being that the material is thicker at the top, as well as, the sides it really does hold up nicely. The thickness of the top and side pieces are a good 1 and 1/2 inches, so it does not wobble and seams sturdy. Obviously, you cannot get the "fake wood" wet or its going to start to peel or wear away, so I would reccommend a coaster if a drink is near by. However, if its just for a home office which is only used a couple hours a day or less it should be fine. It does really look nice bc the dark color makes it seem "richer". I would also reccommend getting the 2 other pieces that match it as well. One piece holds the tower and has 2 extra drawers for small items such as your checkbook, stamps or envelopes and the other piece has 3 drawers 2 of which are the same size and 1 being a little larger being able to act as a filing cabinet. They also look good placed on each end of this desk. It makes it look more complete. Plus, gives more starage space. Also the desk is also a nice size. You can have the monitor on top of the desk, as well as, ample amount of room to work on a project or write. I would reccommend this desk for the price and this site by far is the cheapest and believe me, I shop around.

Desk Outstanding
Desk received as stated in ad on on-line. Very easy to assemble. Takes two people to assemble once all hardware is installed. Highly recommended for housing that is limited in space.

Good product
The desk was easy to put together. However, when my husband was using a hammer to knock the pieces together a hole was created in the side. So be careful. Does not withstand to hammers. However, nice piece in living room. Sleek looking. Not cumbersome. Lots of desk space. Just be aware the desk itself has no drawers, etc. It is shown with side cart that you have to buy in addition to desk.

Simple and clean but missing parts
I purchased this item along with a couch and the desk came a week after the couch. Strike one. Then when I received the package I opened it up to assemble the desk and then I find out (12) of the hardware "F" was missing, not one or two, but all 12 of the screws were missing. In the package they ask that you call directly to the manufacture and so I did that. After waiting for over 3 weeks for the missing hardware, I called them again and finally they sent it. However, when I opened up the package, the entire hardware set they sent me was still missing the 12 F screws. I am very disappointed at this purchase since I have a computer desk but no keyboard tray to put my keyboard on. I am very disappointed in this purchase. Not sure if anyone else had this same problem but for the amount I paid for this item, I was hoping I would have a complete assembly of a desk but I don't.
