Cannes Deluxe 9-piece Teak Dining Set

Although I was pretty nervous buying something this expensive sight unseen, after multiple comparisons and shopping around felt this was a price that just couldn't be beat. The set arrived last week and after a couple of hours assembling it was done and looks terrific. Chairs are VERY solid and table is sturdy. The leaf in the center changes out easily. My set didn't come with any teak oil or stain but will be easy to find at a hardware store. My only issue/complaint would be that they could include would pegs to cover the screws once assembled. I asked a friend for their opinion on the table and this is the one thing they pointed out that would have made it look more finished and more on par/competitive with higher end tables. But all in all am very very happy with our purchase.

I received it in two days. Well packaged with no missing parts. Easy to assemble, though recommend using your own electric driver as there are 10 screws per chair. It is handmade and not heirloom quality. It is outdoor furniture. There are some slightly twisted pieces but very slight and everything came together easily. The teak is not grade A. Much of it is burl and new growth (not much grain) but it is teak and looks very nice, especially after applying teak oil. The chairs are different from the picture. Similar design but the rear legs only go up to the armrest. The separate back piece continues the angle of the leg. The seat is also slightly different, with a nice curve to it. I think the chairs are nicer than in the picture because of it. They are very sturdy. The table top is exactly 1" thick, with a bevel to give it the illusion of a thicker edge. It is thin, as a previoius reviewer pointed out. However, the substantial sliding rails underneath support the leaves very well. It doesn't sag and feels sturdy. The center panel cleverly folds up underneath the tabletop. We are very happy with the product, especially after oiling it. The rich teak color really pops out and make you go "wow!" I would by it again.

A beautiful dining set. Have already received many compliments. Arrived without any difficutly and assembly was easy. The tools supplied by the manufacturer were all that were needed. Table and chairs are sturdy, heavy and comfortable even without cushions. The chairs are very roomy which is great, but when all armchairs are around the table, it's a little snug. We highly recommend sealing the table and chairs with the product that is enclosed which gives the set a beautiful golden color. We look forward to many memory-making evenings around our table!
