The Cambridge Strata is just great all-around flatware. While we use more expensive stuff when we entertain, the Strata is, by far, my favorite. Whoever designed it is a genius. Everything from holding a proper amount of food, not making you deform your mouth during the eating process (I'm serious; the "better" flatware that we use is cupped in a way that makes it want to hold onto some of the food when the utensil is exiting your mouth), the fact that the forks serve as 'sporks' (spoon/forks) ... it's just the best flatware out there. I've recently bought enough for 16 place-settings. Not to entertain with, but to make sure I have enough to last the rest of my life. Seriously. Chuck C

I like the modern look of this flatware, I wish it was a bit heavier. It does wash up nicely in the dishwasher.

trying to get something similar to an older Dansk pattern. I like the look of the Cambridge flatware better. Only drawback is lemon scented dishwasing detergent can discolor them. I love them.

I gave this set of beautiful silverware to my neighbor turning 60 yr as a birthday gift since she didn't have a complete set of flatware and often served us using plastic ware when I dined at her house.
