      I am 75 yrs. old, have had many tea kettles in my lifetime and never one like this. Have enjoyed using it every day, It delights me to get up, go to the kitchen and put my water on to heat.     • rust, lid wouldn't stay, wouldn't whistle

      I got this because it was on sale 2 years ago. I got a red color. It looks very nice in my kitchen. It had a soft soothing woooo sound when water boiled (I used HAD because it no longer whistles) One day I found some rust inside the kettle near the spout. There is not much i can do. I live with it until I find something i like. Then, the lid started to shrink and wouldn't lock onto the top anymore. One time, i fell and hot steam burnt my hand. I had to use one hand to carry the handle and the other hand to hold the lid since then. Well, it was in sale and i didn't pay much for the kettle. I would love to keep it for longer time for it is really cute.
