The kettle was nice, but when I got it in the paint was chipping near the top of the lid.

Looks good. But lid does not close perfectly (hence the 4 stars)

I love a teakettle with a handle that you can move out of the way from the sink faucet when filling it. Most manufactures make only a stationary handle which I find more difficult when filling the teakettle. My only complaint is that they don't make a 2.5 or 3 quart teakettle when larger amounts of heated water are needed.

My friend loved the color, it was just right. Like I wrote above, shortly after receiving it the handle slid/bent down to where the gas flames could get it and it caught on fire. The Overstock representative that I chatted with online stated that this was a very unusual occurrence and replaced the kettle for us. Thank you

There is no whistling on this kettle, but the rising steam from the boiling water alerts you to the active boiling. Keep the inside wiped dry after use and kettle will always be ready to fill. Kettle is well built and quite solid. It is a good buy.

This is a cute tea kettle. I am the only one in my house who drinks tea regularly, so I didn't want a big kettle. This is the perfect size to use regularly for myself, but is big enough to make a couple of more cups if someone else wants tea too.

It is pretty the tea kettle the handle is red plastic but sturdy. It has not seemed to get hot. it is quite small in size. about the half the size of a tea kettle. Like ti though. It is nice for a small stove.

Wonderful little tea kettle. Nice size and looks attractive sitting on the stove. Be aware that there is a sticker on the bottom of the kettle that should be removed before you use it. Ask me how I know this.

Be advised, this is not a whistling kettle. You have to keep an eye on it. It holds up nicely to many washings and does not fade or have stubborn stains. Nice little kettle.

Pot never comes to a whistle, I was so looking forward to this pot, because when I am out of the kitchen I would know when the water is ready, Well, it NEVER HAPPENS,

I wanted a tea kettle that was more than 4 cups; this is just right. It's very pretty and could come to any table too. I did not want a whistling tea pot and this isn't, but it does mean you have to remember you put the pot on. The handle gets hot so you need to use a hot pad. The design would improve if they wrapped the handle with "straw" as they do in Japan to dissipate the heat. I did a lot of research and thought this was what I was looking for. I'm sure I couldn't have done better. It's always nice to do business with overstock.com

This little kettle really gives a lot of color to my kitchen! The price is hard to beat for enamel on steel. That being said, I was a little disappointed that the handle was plastic. Also, the lid goes on very tight, so be sure you push hard enough to pop it in. It's a smallish size kettle, but works for me.

I had a larger bright red teakettle but I needed a smaller one (which I accidently burned a hole in the bottom). The large one was too heavy when full for me to comfortably handle. This smaller size is exactly the size I needed now. At my age, I don't have the strength I used to have.
