Calkins 'Dunes of Lake Michigan with Big Sky' Gallery-wrapped Art

My family has vacationed in Michigan since I was a child and now my husband, my children and I enjoy a summer home right on Lake Michigan. This seems like it's an exact match to the view from our boat to our beach, so I was beyond thrilled when I saw this piece. Everytime I see this view, it's an instant calm! Although it's a print, it's still beautiful. The colors are vibrant, yet soft with many shades of lovely deep blue to light purple, just a beautiful piece. I wish it was larger, I knew the size when I ordered, but it's just so lovely I wish it was bigger! I just hung it slightly off-center and then hung several framed shots of our family enjoying the beach next to it. Came very well packaged. Once again, super pleased with Overstock's quality and prices!

My husband and I came from Michigan and have ran down and hiked back up these dunes. Both ways are challenging because these dunes are mammoth. Personal memories aside, I would recommend this art piece to anyone who likes paintings of water and sky and muted colors. It is peaceful to look at. Good job, Overstock, for the careful packaging and prompt delivery. I even kept the box to store a mirror.
