Calais Black Round Dining Table

This table would have been perfect but it arrived battered and damaged. The box was paper thin and ripped to shreds. Lots of bangs and scratches in the wood. Very very disappointed.

The table is exactly what I wanted and I am not disappointed in the quality or the way it looks. When we unpacked it, it had two large noticeable scratches on the table top. I immediately called Overstock. I had to wait less than a minute to speak to a customer service. She was very polite and helpful. She asked if I needed both pieces replaced it just the top. Within a few short minutes, I received an email detailing out conversation and notifying me that a replacement top would soon be shipped. I have now received confirmation that the replacement top has been shipped. I can highly recommend this table as well as Overstock. This is not my first purchase, but it is the first thing I have received that was damaged. I cannot say enough about the customer service dept.

I would not purchase this table if you want something high quality! I waited for the longest time for this table to come back in stock and when it did I snatched it up! Unfortunately, when it arrived it was missing the top of the table and the hardware! I called and customer service was great but it still took about 2 weeks to arrive. After that, when I got it out of the box there was a big gash across the front. I was already impatient and irritated and did not want to deal with having it shipped back as I needed a table for guests coming over so I just kept it. You can see every tiny finger print and it scratches super easily! I love the base of the table and it's the reason I chose this table to begin with. The finish is a shiny black and if it weren't for the mess it shows on top, I would love it! It was very disappointing :(

The table is VERY good looking, better than the one i was going to buy at crate and barrel. Very happy with the product, very easy to put together.

• How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Perfect, it's better in person than on-line. On-line it looks super shiny, it's not it's black but not glossy.
