  • Love this table!

    This is my first purchase of furniture online as I've always been concerned about ordering something, not liking it, and having to return a heavy box back. Luckily, this table is not going anywhere! In fact, I'll be ordering the matching sofa table for behind the couch! The reclaimed wood look goes great with the other pieces in the living room. The color is a bit darker than what appears in the photos but it actually works well. Disclaimer - the way the table is delivered in the box will most likely require a buddy system to get it up any stairs. It's a long rectanuglar shape that could be on the heavy side for one person to handle. That's the hardest part, though. Putting it together was a breeze. Highly recommended!

    I love this table. It is very true to the photo - maybe the wood is a tiny bit darker, but not much. It's really pretty. My only complaint is I"m having a hard time getting the glass to be perfectly shiny, but this might just be the type of cloth I've use to clean it. You definitely want to use coasters with this table. I really love it and I"m so glad I got it for so cheap.

  • Great Coffee Table

    I was in desperate need of a new coffee table and this piece of furniture is high quality, beautiful, and easy to set up (I'd say it took 15-20 minutes tops). It is slightly darker than pictured, but it looks lovely in my room. I love the slightly industrial feel on the ends of the table. Very cool.

    I love this table! It's tough to find solid wood furniture at a reasonable price. The table was super easy to put together. I probably did it in about 15 minutes alone. The glass was really heavy. It is an awesome rustic looking piece. Great buy!

  • "Nice table--for the price."

    This coffee table is a nice value for the price. The wood is not of the best quality; however, the table has a nice open, contemporary look and the glass is durable. It was very easy to assemble and looks great.

It is 19" high. Which actually is a middling height for a coffee table. 12" is about the lowest they come & 24" about the tallest. peasterbunny on Mar 17, 2013

If you take off the cables then you'll have the pieces they attach to still on the table which I think would look odd. If you took those off then you would have holes in the wood. Also the cables go THROUGH the wood so there are 2" by 1/2" holes in 4 of the eight pieces of wood. As far as stability goes, I think the tables would be stable without the cables.
