I am not a fan of this cabinet. I purchased it as a pantry for a kitchen with minimal cabinets. The pine cabinet is cheaply made. I had a shelf that was completely glued together that Overstock replaced. The front door has already started to split. The knobs striped and had to be replaced. I would have been better off spending the money at a home improvement store for a solid cabinet.

The two cabinets arrived fast and in great shape. The packaging did its job, though a bit too much Styrofoam. The units were solid pine wood as advertised, but not long or wide boards, but more like shorter pieces spliced together. In spite of this, the finished cabinets do look nice and function as expected. The assembly instructions were clear, the parts were all included in separate packaging for different stages of assembly. The units were easy to put together and light enough for one person to handle the construction. The cabinets went together perfectly; square, plumb and even. The only deviation I may recommend is regarding the hinges for the doors. The hinges only open to 90 degrees as delivered. If you work the hinges carefully and without to much force, you can make them more flexible so that they can open beyond the 90 degrees, thus making the doors open wider for better accessibility to the interior of the cabinets. If you are thinking of doing this, do this before you install the hinges onto the doors. Overall the units were a good value, easy to assemble, functional and good to look at. But they weren't as tall as I expected.

I loved this cabinet so much I ended up redoing my entire kitchen to match it! Putting this together was a cinch, but really requires 2 people because it is so heavy and tall. This is a quality piece of furniture with a distressed off-white finish and beautiful brushed nickle hardware and beadboard panels and crown molding. It hold a lot of stuff. The runners for the draw had to be adjusted slightly to get the drawer to close properly, but that was no big deal. I am a petite woman and put this together by myself, but needed help stacking the top on the bottom and moving it into the kitchen because it is heavy and tall. I am an interior designer and I am quite impressed with the quality of this piece. I highly recommend it.

I am very disappointed with this cabinet. First, the color is not a pine color like the picture, much darker. Second I ended up having to add extra screw holes to the cabinet, because there were missing pre-drilled holes. Third, when the final steps were taken and the doors attached, they did not fit nice without sanding the tops down some. Fourth, the back is not one solid piece, so there is a slot down the center of the back and you can see light through to the back when you have the doors open. I would not buy this product again, I feel like I could have spent a little more and gotten a way better, quality product. If you are looking to have this out in the open where visitors can see it or plan on using it daily, then spend a bit more money for a better product.

This product has MDF (particle board) sides and back panel. The front and top is solid wood and the shelves are hardwood faced and the I was extremely disappointed because I searched the description before I ordered it to insure there was no press board wood, and none was listed. The cabinet comes completely unassembled in a 'zillion' pieces. It took several hours to assemble. It requires refinishing. The current Functional design is good for the purpose I bought it, but do not like to spend time refinishing particle board.

This cabinet is made of quality solid materials. It has heavy adjustable shelves and holds a lot of heavy cans, etc. Fits in a small space and it has a quality look. It was shipped in a very well padded container and was easier to assemble than it first appeared.

The good part of the cabinet is that it is all solid pine, except the back panel. The workmanship is good. A little difficult to put together and the instructions were very basic. We lacked ten of a certain type of screw so had to get more. Overall I am satisfied with the product. What I feel is wrong is the price. For the size it is way too expensive. A fair price would be &70-&80.00, and on Overstock you would think it would be more reasonable.

I needed this for storage in my laundry room. The cabinet is only about a foot deep, so it fit in my small space. Wish it was taller. It is not super sturdy, but does the job (holding cleaning supplies). Antique white is more yellowed than i thought it would be. over all I am pretty happy. If you are looking for a solid piece of furniture, this is not it.

I like my new kitchen hutch, it matches our (old) kitchen cabinets. It's solid enough that I didn't even put the (cardboard) back in, but could let the wall behind it shine through. Some of the parts arrived a little dented, also the maple board has a split in it. However, it gives me more space and organization in the kitchen. The hooks in the front don't make much sense to me, I may just move them to the sides.

I should have taken reviews seriously. Perhaps in other stains I would like it better, but I got the Honey Pine (only stain available at the time), and it looks unfinished and unattractive. All the mismatched pieced together wood shows. Also, the claim that it is solid wood is misleading. The back is paper thin Pine(?) over fiber board and there is a crack that runs through the middle the length of the cabinet. that shows when the upper doors are opened. As others have stated in their reviews, this cabinet is much smaller than the illustration portrays. Measure, measure, measure and think twice. To describe it as extra tall is wrong.

We truly LOVE the finished product and have received many admiring comments. It is definitely a nice addition to our bathroom . . . actually to BOTH of our bathrooms because I purchased TWO pf these space saving cabinets . . . and I put them together all by myself. Took a couple of hours, and IF the instructions had been a little bit more explicit, I could have done it in less time. (Yes, the second cabinet was much easier) AND, YES! If you're looking for a good, sturdy piece of cabintry for your bath, be sure and buy this solid Bamboo "put-it-together-yourself:" kit.

The cabinet arrived within a few days. All pieces were included in the packaging along with instructions. The instructions were very detailed which made assembly very easy and all pieces were labeled. The only problems we had were with the doors. One of the doors on the bottom would not close. My husband did some rigging with the hinges and it worked. The top cabinet door did not connect with the magnet and we had to lower the magnet on one side. The other door was a bit warped and my husband rigged that too so that it matched the other side. All in all it is a nice solid piece and fits perfectly in the area we chose for it. I am very happy with it.

I ordered this because it was the perfect size for our laundry room while still adding a lot of storage space. I was a bit skeptical when I realized that I had to assemble it - it looked pretty overwhelming coming out of the box. But the assembly was really a breeze and the cabinet is very nice and quite solid. It took me about 2 hours to put together on my own - I assembled the bottom, put it in place; then I assembled the top and connected the two. No problem and I'm a very petite lady, so if I can do it you can too. I highly recommend it!

This cabinet has a lot going for it. It is a great size and design for spices and baking ingredients. It also can be really attractive and super-sturdy. Everything you need to have a wonderful little cabinet is there - - except a feasible assembly plan. If you are even the least bit confused when assembling things, you may want to skip this purchase. BUT, if you are somewhat creative and have an adventurous spirit, you could end up with a wonderful piece of furniture, as I did. A few tips: Don't bother with the metal "screws" or whatever they are called. They work well in several places but are a source of frustration in most place, and completely unnecessary. You have solid wood pieces and wooden pegs. This is a time-tested method for building furniture. Get a big tube of really good adhesive (I used that loc tight super grippy construction adhesive that you use in a caulk gun.). Look at the pictures. You can see what the thing should look like. It's obvious which piece is which. Just connect everything with pegs that you glue in as you go. It will be super sturdy this way. Prior to putting the doors on the hinges, I stood on each door - with the little door shelves holding my weight. Not a creak or crack. There will be no problem holding whatever I can fit on the shelves! I used the remaining glue in the caulk gun to "caulk" all the seems. It could not be any more solid! Finally, I used a satin white spray paint to create a beautiful finish. The finish that comes on the wood is awful. I also purchased a decorative clasp to keep the doors closed, as I wasn't thrilled with the idea of the magnets. So I do have a great cabinet, but I did have to buy adhesive, quite a few cans of spray paint, and hardware. I also put in quite a few hours making this project work. So, I can't in good conscience recommend this to the average consumer. But being willing to go the extra mile (or ten miles) gave me a very attractive, useful piece of furniture.

Don't do it. I know this cabinet looks cute, and it seems like a good price for real wood. And maybe like me you are very experienced with assembling furniture, that's why I ignored the negative comments. Unfortunately the negative comments are absolutely accurate, and I am furious about the time I am having to put into this piece to make it workable. It's wood, all right, but it is many pieces of laminated wood with many, many obvious "finger joints", plus a lot of black blotching. The holes are too big for the dowels, and I used most of an 8-ounce bottle of glue to help stabilize this thing (glue not included). The cams (no extra) are pot metal and will crack if much force applied. There are an enormous number of pieces, which would be OK if you ended up with a solid product. But because there is only a cardboard back board, the sides are a bit wobbly even after I used metal braces top and bottom, so now I am going to have to get some plywood and screws and replace the cardboard back. I've spent hours painting this already to cover up the obvious joints and ugly wood. When I am finally done I will have a nice spice cabinet which is what I wanted this for, but something I bought to make life easier has been more hellish to deal with than the dressers I have built. Worst Overstock purchase I have ever made. Sad to say I have MDF pieces better engineered and designed than this.

Needed a pantry space, limited by size that the kitchen layout dictated. Searched and debated over many styles and websites over long period. I really did not want to spend too much, found one similar in size at half the price, but was made of particle board. The size and materials was what made my final decision. My boyfriend and I put it together in no time, the glue that was included had to be tossed out (glue was in solid form), fortunately my boyfriend does woodwork and had 'wood glue'. Pretty solid piece, only have had it a month, so can not truly judge durability. Has a weathered/antique look, probably could use another shelf for that height of unit (but also depends on the user's needs). I give it a definite thumb's up, good solid piece of furniture that should withstand it's everyday use.

Looks very good. Not to hard to assemble. Lots of screws but it is stready. The back is the only thing that is not solid wood. There were a couple of minor marks/scratches but they were all on the inside. I'm thinking about ordering another one.

Love the wood. Does have an "oily" smell, but it says that. Wanted it for a pantry, but so far only put canned goods in it because of the smell. Solid wood and is nice though. Can be painted, but haven't pursued that yet. Lots better than the particle board or pressed wood type. Shipment was great. Thought about ordering another one.
