The sink feels heavier and thicker than I imagined from the photo. The pop-up drain works great. My husband installed the faucet himself without too much trouble although the water lines were a little short because we wanted to put the faucet off to the right of the bowl. We compromised and put it to the left of the bowl. This is a 7-sided sink, so you can put the flat part in the front and the point in the back (or vice-versa). We put it on granite and our installer just had to drill a small hole for the drain and another for the faucet.Read More

Unique Faucet Designs
Sometimes it seems like faucets don't vary much. Ninety-five percent of the kitchen and bath faucets you see are basic sink-mounted, single-spout designs with one lever or two knobs. These vary in terms of finish and embellishment, but, essentially, these designs are all variations on a single theme. However, sometimes, you may want a faucet that's unique, that departs from the norm and becomes a centerpiece for or makes a specific statement about your kitchen or bath. Maybe you want a faucet that performs a specific function that the usual faucets do not. If you're looking for that kind of faucet, keep reading. The addition of a vessel bathroom sink can really add style to your bath remodel, but before you decide to go with a vessel sink, you may want to know how they compare with the traditional sinks you're familiar with. Here's a side-by-side comparison of the two types of bathroom sinks.
Matching a Vessel Sink to Your Bathroom
Part of the challenge of remodeling is blending fixtures and hardware, such as a bathroom sink, with other elements of your room decor. Replacing old bathroom sinks can give new life to your bathroom. Whether you're installing a new undermount sink, vessel sink, basin sink or a regular vanity sink, most of the steps will remain the same. Dining Done Right: Tips for Your Dining Room | Overstock? Dining Done Right Whether you use your dining room for daily meals with your family or reserve it for holiday dinners, you'll want to make sure it's attractive and functional. If you're starting from scratch or if you only have one or two pieces, you may not know what to buy next. From the floor to the tabletop, a lot of elements need to come together to create the perfect dining room. These tips will help you with some of the more practical matters of setting up your dining room. Back to Top Dining Table When you're shopping for a dining table, start by looking at size. The table should be proportionate to the room. If the table's too small, it will make the room feel empty and uninviting. If it's too big, the room will feel small and crowded. Rectangular tables are a classic choice that offers plenty of seating, but if you want your meals to be more focused on conversation, consider a round or oval table instead. A table that includes leaf inserts will let you adjust the table size to accommodate more or less people, depending on your needs. Shop All Dining Tables Dining Chairs Many dining chairs and tables come as a set, but sometimes it's up to you to find the matching pieces, and some people like to mix and match. If you're buying chairs separately, you'll want to make sure they're in proportion with the table. When seated, diners should be able to easily and comfortably reach their food. The table should hit just below mid-chest, and you should be able to easily scoot chairs under the table. Typically, the chairs at the ends of the dining table have arms, while the other chairs are armless. You can also put armless chairs at the heads of the table, but armed chairs may be too large to fit all the way around. Shop All Dining Chairs Table Settings A formal table setting typically includes a dinner and salad plate; a water glass as well as a wine glass; flatware for all courses, from salad to dessert; and a dessert or bread-and-butter plate. That's a lot to fit into one place setting. Plan out your table by allowing 28-30 inches per place setting. This will give your guests plenty of room. If you need to add a leaf to your table to accommodate more place settings, that will help keep your guests from feeling too cramped. Shop All Dinnerware Buffets & Hutches You may want a place to store your formal dishes, tablecloths, and other items you frequently use in your dining area. China hutches are a great place to both store and display everything from china to crystal. Just like your table, your hutch should be sized in proportion to your room. You can often find one that matches your table and chairs. A buffet cabinet provides storage below for linens and flatware, and you can use the top for serving food at large parties where you may need additional space. Shop All Buffets, Sideboards & China Cabinets Area Rug A rug beneath the dining table can really enhance the look of the room and help protect your floors from scraping chairs and spilled food. A rug should be large enough that the entire table and chairs fit on top of it. If it's too small, you won't be able to see it and it won't adequately protect your floor. Make sure that the rug is large enough to accommodate all the chairs when they're pulled out as well as pushed in. Additionally, smaller rugs, such as runners, can be used to protect areas that get a lot of foot traffic. Shop All Area Rugs what shoppers are saying about dining at overstock?
Best Sunroom Furnishing Ideas
Sunrooms are often some of the most popular areas of any home. Large windows and garden views make sunrooms feel like outdoor retreats while still providing the cover and warmth of indoor rooms. Because sunrooms are connected more to the outdoors than any other room in your home, pick design elements and furniture that work with that theme. Below, you'll find some of the best sunroom furnishing ideas. Seating: One of the most important parts of a sunroom is the seating arrangement. Since you'll likely want to spend many warm nights and bright days in your sunroom, you'll need adequate seating. Sunrooms typically feature either wood furniture or wrought iron seating. When deciding what's right for you, consider the overall look of the room as well as the intended comfort level. Wooden furniture with thick cushions is warmer and more comfortable than metal. A wicker sectional sofa with comfortable cushions will work well with the design of a sunroom. Alternatively, wrought iron benches and chairs give a modern look and feel to a room. Mismatched plush armchairs are a great way to bring both comfort and casual elegance to a sunroom. Tables: When picking out tables for your sunroom, consider how you're going to use the area. Choose a low table that can act as a coffee table for guests to set down their drinks. Tables with glass inserts match sunrooms well because of surrounding glass windows. Sunrooms are a popular place to go during parties and family get-togethers, so consider adding a small dining table and chairs to the room for meals. Design elements: Although sunrooms are indoors, they tie in the nature and wonder of the outdoors. Choose design elements that bring both sun and nature into the room. Wicker planters can hold plants of your choice. Place planters on side tables and on the floor next to entrances to give an inviting impression as guests enter the room. Artwork can change a bland sunroom into something charming and interesting. Look for paintings and sculptures that incorporate colors and themes from the surrounding decor.
