I had been seaching for a brown leather (not fake leather) rectangular ottoman/coffee table for over a year...the ones I kept seeing were pricey (over $400) and often times weren't even real leather - not to mention they were usually square and I needed rectangle. Then I found this item on Overstock....it is EXACTLY what I had been looking for. So easy to screw the legs on and that is the only 'assembly'. I love it and it is the perfect size and color for my living room. It arrived with a little swatch of the leather and I've already found a leather chair that matches! Highly recommend this item!

Beautiful piece of furniture- the 1st three legs went on with ease but the last leg, no matter how many times I tried, would not screw on correctly. It really is beautiful for the price but I have to keep straightening the leg until I figure something else out.

Beyond pleased with this purchase. It was packaged well. Extremely simple to put together...just screw in legs. It was unwrapped and ready to go in 15 minutes. Looks wonderful in front of our family room couch. Great quality for the price!

This is a great all purpose piece of furniture. It is in our living room and we use it as a table, seating bench, and for decoration. It's heavy enough that is is sturdy but not too heavy that you can't move it. Nice color and nice leather too. I would recommend!

Wow. This is so much nicer than I expected. I do not think it is a bench so much as an ottoman or sofa table. We are using it as a sofa table and are just so pleased. I was a tiny bit worried after reading the reviews about the legs being difficult and wobbly but ours came together VERY easily and is sturdy as all get out. This is one of my best Overstock buys to date..........and I purchase A LOT!!!!!

I purchased this item as a footstool for my couch. It is the perfect height and the color was dead-on to what it appeared on the website. The legs were easy to put on and only took about 5 minutes, though they were scuffed in a couple of spots. I think the only down side would be the buttons seem like they could snag on stuff. So far they are still intact, but I hope they stay that way. The footstool looks great and other similar footstools cost much more in stores.

Everything that I expected and more. I saw a very similare item in a local door for $299 and was considering buying it, if I had someone to remove it from my truck. I am glad I didn't not purchase it, because this one served my needs for a fraction of the cost. The size and quality was perfect. We use it as an ottoman/coffee table in our family room.

No surprises for me. Having 4 year old twins, I needed something durable. It has only been three weeks since we received it, so I can't comment on the durability yet. It is well made. Like a lot of other reviews, it is a dark brown with more of a matte finish. I am not disappointed at all.

This is a well made item. It does have a slight odor that is starting to abate. I did have some trouble with one of the legs but was able to make it work. I think I will have this for many years to come.

I purchased this bench to use at the end of my bed. It looks great and the workmanship and quality was great. The only negative thing about this bench is the tanning smell. The smell is now going away after a month....or maybe i'm just getting use to it.

We are happy with this ottoman. It is well built. 1 hole to screw in the legs was a little too small. I couldn't screw the leg to a tight position, but it is only noticalble when the piece is physically moved, which due to its size and weight is not very often. Would recommend.

I would recommend this product to anyone. I shopped around for an ottoman for a long time and finally found the right color and look. It is genuine leather and really warms up my living room. Great accent piece and nice to put my feet up! this product is very well crafted. Very easy to assemble.

I looked and looked for a cocktail ottoman and thought this would be perfect. Actually it is except for one detail. IT STINKS. I put it outside for three days and thought that would do it but it still smells. I cant' imagine what chemicals they are using in the dye or the manufacture of this piece....certainly not something you want to breathe. I hauled it backoutside for another three days...still an odor but not as bad.

I ordered four of these and will pick up a fifth for our Salon lobby. They look great (much better than the picture), seem well built, sturdy and easy to assemble (just screw on the legs). In addition, they're comfortable for lobby/waiting room duties.I'll admit I was anxious ordering four sight unseen - especially since they'll be subject to heavy commercial use. But after setting them up, I'm sure they'll hold up for at least the next few years. And you can't beat that for the price.

I absolutely love it!!!! I read all of the reviews before making my purchase and I agree that it is one of the best purchases I have made online. I am using it for a ottoman/ coffee table in front of my couch and it is the perfect size, I would not want it any bigger. Not sure about the person who made the comment it was for mini furniture......they must have giant furniture. I highly recommend this bench and I am hoping to get another one soon for the end of my bed.

I spent considerable time researching benches before making this purchase, they can be fairly expensive - $300-$500 for leather. The quality appears to be good and the price compared to other similar items is reasonable. This bench was exactly as described. It is the perfect size and height so we can enjoy watching TV with our legs outstretched. It's a good idea to measure your couch to determine width and height so the bench is level. The bench was packed well with sufficient packing material to prevent any scratching. It was a cinch to screw on the legs and also came with stick-on pads to prevent scratching if you have a wood floor. This is a good looking leather bench that can serve a variety of purposes, such as an ottaman, "table", or extra seating. I think you'll be pleased with this product - for home or office.

The leather is real. However, the holes for the legs are not drilled deep enough and I wasn't able to screw the legs in. I was looking for a more contemporary look and it didn't give me the look I was expecting.

My wife and I love this ottoman. We are using it as a coffee table in front of our couch and it is the PERFECT size. It is great for throwing your legs and feet on it. Unlike some others, we had NO SMELL. Other comments had me worried, but we had no problems with a smell at all. It looks great and is very elegant. We love it.

I love this ottoman, and it was a great price. But it emits a horrendous odor that smells like a product I purchased once to kill ants and spiders. I found one small bag of the smelly stuff that came in the box, but weeks later, the ottoman still emits this bad odor.

We have had this a few years now. Positives are sturdy, cleans well, stylish. Negatives: Stiff leather, piping bent, twisting feet. Overall its a pretty nice looking piece, it just hasn't held up to a family.
