Great Fryer First I got a great price on this fryer. My husband and I did a trial run before Thanksgiving, we timed the turkey exactly to the pounds of the bird, on the package. Now, I have been told I make an excellent turkey, and until I got this fryer actually believed it. Now, not so much. This makes the best by far! We have kept it on the countertop, with the oil in it. It will do about 5-7 fryings before the oil is changed. The meat is juicy, not oily, we have done whole chickens and wings without any problem. It is more of a cold weather cooker. I will never go back to the oven made turkey.

Just to double check you answered the question about capacity as being 14 pounds. You have the XL gen II and the Gen III available for sale which have different dimensions with the XL being larger. Are you saying they both have a capacity of 14 pounds? Something doesn't seem right.
