Just got this yesterday. I guess you get what you pay for but I can't recommend highly enough that people do not purchase this item. It may be adequate for a dorm but is not a good piece of furniture for an actual adult in a real home. It's very light and probably weighs half what the recliner it's replacing weighed. It's shoddy. The maximum recommended weight of someone sitting in it is 230 pounds, which seems low for a piece of furniture made for adults. The seat is not wide enough. If you are overweight like me or about 70% of the people in America you will not be comfortable in this chair. There is no support in the back which moves partially whether you want it to or not as soon as you sit down. The only recline position leaves you staring at the ceiling, which is not useful if you plan on sitting in this chair while watching television. One of the holes for the arm rest appears to have been drilled incorrectly or stripped before the chair was even sent to me. The bolt will not go into the hole even if the arm rest is removed from the rest of the chair. This is a very poor piece of furniture.
The chair came in lots of parts. The bolts, screws and directions were all missing in the shipment. I called the company and the bolts were sent to me which took two weeks. Then AFTER I got the directions i found out that the handle to recilne was missing tooand had to call to order that too. I had a chair in pieces for a very long time.... I should have bought something local.
The chair is hard and uncomfortable. It seems like it a cheap piece of furniture.
I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of assembly, the great appearance and the solid comfort of this recliner. When it arrived it took only about 20 minutes to unpack and assemble. Packaging was very good and the delivery time from when I placed the order took only a few days. The nice suede fabric and tan color made the recliner fit very well in our family room. Thanks Overstock..
I ordered this chair on Thursday and got it delivered on Saturday (2 days later). Assembly took about 15 minutes (and I am not a very handy guy). The arms are attached with 1 step screw assembly and the rear back-rest is just slide-in & click assembly. Final step is to screw in the reclining lever. The chair itself is very comfortable, plush yet firm so that after falling asleep in the recliner, i wake up feeling pretty good (unlike other recliners that are too soft - where i wake up with an aching back). The reclining fuction works well and i can easlily shift positions from upright to lying down and back again. Great for watching tv and napping. My only complaint about this chair is that it feels sooo comfortable that I don't want to get up.
Hard to unpack--got torn because of arms being pack inside. Not easy to assemble.
looking for a recliner and not looking to spend much money on it....saw this one ....it was the cheapest and was very surprised at how great it was ...quick deliverary...very happy..
This chair is a good value. The only complaint I would have is that the seat area of it is a little harder than I expected. It fits very well into a small living space, which is what I was looking for.
The chair is comfortable, soft and sturdy. This chair was purchased for my mother who is 84 years old and she absolutely loves it.
The item was of poorer quality than I expected. It is very uncomfortable. Has a very hard seat. It was a pain to put together. I have had the best of luck with Overstock purchases, but this one is probably the worst that I have kept.
this recline is a beatful chair, but the wood on the side of the sit stick out dosen,t stay cover, some time rub on the side of your leg.the chair sit deep you need help getting out ,but when your in it wow it a sleep chair, soft and comfortable

I had such success with other products that I thought it safe to try a chair. Within 18 months, the padding on the foot rest has shifted to bare wood, the foot rest does not open properly and the seat has lumps. This was a major disappointment! I will think long and hard before purchasing a furniture item again.

Recliner was very hard. I bought this for my husband's birthday and I was very disappointed. People who have sat in it have complained about the discomfort. Absolutely no buttery softness there!

great for the money, very well made and nice looking
For the price, this chair is fine. If you looking for something to sink into, this chair is not it. It's only a addition in our room, and not our main seating.
this product is very poorly made. Purchased Nov.10,2009 and it has already broken. the chair is no longer usable. I went to a store and purchased a new recliner. I had to toss this one in the trash.
very poor quality not worth the money had onlya couple of weeks and seat is already breaking down. and i onlyweigh 180lbs one star
Complete junk, busted the first time I sat on it. Now it makes great fire wood !!!!
I received the chair quickly. Easy to assemble, but it disassembles itself just as quickly! The back keeps falling off when someone tries to recline... oh, yeah... that was what it was suppose to do... right? The person using this chair was only 106 pounds not a heavy weight by any means. Run not walk to another chair.
I am returning this chair, it came with no back part. The chair is cheep......................
