EXCELLENT BUY
I have been searching for a Butter Dish that I liked for over a year -- LOVE this Butter Dish and an added perk is that you get the Knife also. It is a 'shorter' butter dish, so you cannot put a full stick of butter in - except side by side. This shortness did Not bother me in that I was soooooo taken with the quality of the dish, the sturdiness, and the overall look. LOVE IT ! ! ! Best description I can think of is 'SNAPPY'. Would buy it again.

Not practical
Attractive but does not fit regular sized sticks of butter found most commonly in the US. The stainless steel finish is nice but the butter knife rusted the first time in the dishwasher. Other knives would not fit dish. I found it difficult to find contemporary looking butter dishes so I purchased this originally. I do not use however because I rarely have a short stick of butter
