I was sceptical that a baker's rack for this price would be a quality item but I took a chance and have been very pleased. The frame looks great in my kitchen and blends in with just about any decor since it is quite neutral in color. The bamboo shelf is beautiful. I needed to replace a smaller rack and have been looking for a long time to find one that we could afford and had straight lines. I now have plants on the top shelf and canisters on the bamboo shelf. I was very happy with the ease of assembly (no tools required) and the sturdiness of the rack. Don't let the affordable price put you off. This is a great buy.

I bought this table to hold a mini beverage refrigerator, but ended up using it as a kitchen island. I store my cookbooks on the shelf and keep a bamboo cutting board with knife set on the surface. The convenience of having additional "counter" space is terrific and the stainless steel design is very functional.

This was a lot better than a previous kitchen cart I ordered from Target, which arrived 1. broken and 2. a lot flimsier than I had anticipated. This Overstock cart is pretty solid, but I can tell it's cheaply made. The stain/finish is slopped on the wood and looks like a seventh grade shop project. It has nice heavy duty wheels and a heavy top. The top was the hardest thing to install and I'm not sure I did it right. I just couldn't get it to fit as well as I thought it should. The cart is a good size for my very small kitchen, but it is nowhere as nice as my bigger cart that I bought from Bed Bath and Beyond. I have been delighted with that one and it was only about $150 but that might have been because it is made of bamboo, and this Overstock cart is wood. Maybe it's just not possible to buy a wood kitchen cart of good quality for under $200. I am keeping it but I wouldn't recommend it. Now that it is put together, it wobbles quite a bit--not through looseness of bolts, but I feel like the structure needs another brace somewhere. When I wipe the top or otherwise apply friction the whole cart wiggles from side to side.

After searching for a kitchen island for a couple of weeks, I decided on the Catskill Craftsmen Empire Island. I was fully prepared after reading the buyers' feedback, so there were no surprises for me: yes, the wood color does vary from very light to medium dark so there is no uniform look to the piece. Yes, the work surfaces were "fuzzy" on arrival. Yes, it takes a while to assemble and it is not for a faint of heart. Yes, there are only two wheels that lock. But after reading the Q&A on Catskill website, here is what I did: 1. Before starting the assembly, I read the directions, laid out the parts and marked them with the sticky notes. 2. To even up the color of the island, I used Danish Oil (needs at least 2 to 3 applications to get the plywood pieces to look better, and boy does it smell! Be sure to air out the room after every application). 3. Took care of the "fuzz" with fine sandpaper block and used mineral oil with wax to condition the work surfaces (apply warm and do it twice). The result is just wonderful. 4. Placed the locking wheels diagonally from each other - it makes the island less prone to move. Now that I have been using the island for a few weeks, I just love it! The construction is very solid and the pieces fit together like a glove. The sliders operate very smoothly and feel sturdy. The space inside is very generous keeping my oversized pots, pans and bowls easilty accessible and well organized. The drawer is deep and wide, so I bought a couple of bamboo dividers to keep things well arranged. The handles are solid and double as kitchen towel holders - a great help in my kitchen. This is not a cheap buy, but is a great value for the money. It is made in the US, and it makes me feel good that I can support American manufacturer for a change.

When the people I gave it to put it together one of the legs was split and broke more before they noticed it when they tried to put in the wheel. I think the man applied glue and they are using it without the wheels.

This was easy to put together. It works great for a smaller area and it wasn't hard to put together. Very nice and solid!

The product is of a good quality. It is a little taller than one I had before, but nonetheless, it is good. The one drawback is that the wood is not polished, but I can live with that.

I wanted a rack you could see through that was still sturdy, and this one delivered. It was a good value for the money. It was not hard to put together although there were more pieces than I expected. It looks good in the space and has great storage options for open shelving. It is a nice addition to my vacation home kitchen.

My condo does not have much cabinet space or counter space. I needed something to place in a large closet to put overflow of pots and pans, canned goods, spices, etc. and this rack does the trick for me. I gave it a good instead of an excellent because it takes up the whole closet space, but I can see this item being very functional anywhere I may reside.

I expected the item to be smaller, as the photo shows, but I was clearly surprised and highly pleased. It was large enough for my oven roaster, my large slow cooker, bread maker, ice cream maker and the top shelf is great for baking needs, the board cutter is a plus, and the hooks are great for holding cups and such. Best buy I have made for my kitchen. Let's see what else I need to order from Trinity. Thanks. I really mean it when I say I love it. Easy to put together too. I am a grandma, and if I can do anyone can do it.
They say the kitchen is the heart of a home, but in many homes, it's also the biggest source of energy waste. Kitchen lighting, refrigeration and cooking consume about 41.5 percent of the total home energy use; add space heating, cooling, and water heating to that total, and you'll see your kitchen is quite the energy hog. Creating an eco-friendly kitchen includes your choice of appliances, but it also goes beyond that; the floors, paint, pots and pans, and other kitchen items you use can make your kitchen eco-friendly as well.
