I love the dimensions of this kitchen cart. And a good value for what you might compare it with. It did take two tries. The first one had a split in the the butcher block top that went all the way through. I contacted Overstock about the return process and I had a perfect replacement within a few days. Assembly was relatively easy. I would recommend this piece for price and style and functionality.

Once assembled, this cart was beautiful and looked great in my kitchen. Very good quality. However, be prepared to spend around 4-5 hours assembling it. My father, who's constructed many pieces of furniture, found the instructions useless -- none of the parts were labeled and the drawings weren't detailed enough. We essentially put it together through guesswork. It came out great, but given how stressful and time consuming it was to make, I'm not sure I'd order another product from them.

This was probably the best product I have purchased from Overstock. It was good quality, easy to assemble, 30 minutes, and all tools required came with it. I liked it so much, I ordered a second for our condo. Would highly recommend and a space saver with lots of practical storage for food preparation.

Great for small spaces-we purchased it for a small cabin kitchen. Lots of pieces to assemble. One basket came broken and not usable.

My kitchen was a little short on counter space and storage. This product arrived in perfect condition and was not short any parts. It was easy to assemble and fits perfectly in my kitchen space. The fact that it has wheels on the bottom has been a great addition. In the photo it appears to be beige in color but IT IS bright white.

The wood on the kitchen island cracked when I screwed in two different large important screws. Luckily I was still able to assemble the product but I am worried about how long the product will last. It's holding together for now and seems like it may stay together as long as I am not rough on it. Not the easiest thing to assemble and I needed 2 people sometimes. When first assembled, the top drawer stuck a little when opening and I had to lift up on it, but I repositioned the guide rail on the drawer and it works a little better. The island looks beautiful! That's why I am giving it 3 stars. I compared the price of most of the kitchen islands that looked like this and this was the cheapest for the size, but I am still surprised at the cost of the product compared to the quality.

Very high quality cabinet. Lay out everything and double check parts. Allow Three hours to put together with a helper. Very easy to assemble if you go step by step.

One word to describe- Breathtaking! It's countertop height and four feet long. I'm using mine as a side table. The shelves are sturdy and I've put a Kitchenaid mixer & bread maker on them. The drawer is 37 inches long and can hold many items. It is tedious to put together, so I paid a handyman to assemble. My husband doesn't have the patience for this type of job. It took about 2 hours to unpack & assemble. We called the helpline in the beginning just to verify we understood the instructions. They are not clear & incomplete. Once he got started, most of it was common sense. With this said, follow the steps per instructions. One note, when you separate the drawer slide, instructions state to "push". You must slide the flat lever to release , then line up the holes to screw to drawer side wall and the separated slide to inside wall. We assembled upside down until the selves were added. Very much worth the assembly. You'll be impressed with this piece!

Well made and packed. Easy to assemble. Richly stained legs and shelves. Heavy butcher-block top. Locking wheels do not firmly lock...but it is not a problem.

It is a wonderfully made island, but actually more country style than we should have ordered. That's our own fault, as it looked just like the picture. We ended up painting it black--except for butcher block top and shelf. I like it this way. However, since it was so hard to assemble, I'm sure we'd never order another. It is very well-made!

This Island came with comprehensive and easy to follow assembly instructions. All parts are numbered for assembly. Most of the assembly is fastened with screws and predrilled holes. Using a power drill speeds up the assembly. The cart has the look of a quality piece of furniture. Sturdy. Rolls easily or locks in place using the easy to use and access wheel locks. There are no stops to prevent the drawer from pulling all the way out. I expect that this Island will last for many years.

This butcher block work center makes our kitchen a kitchen! We have a tiny kitchen and this is exactly what was needed to provide space for storage and space for food prep. Everyone loves it and wants to know where we purchased it. Even though the assembly went on for a while, my husband claims it was easier than many IKEA products I've made him put together!

I the kitchen cart was shipped quickly and was easy to assemble. The rich wood color looks great and the butcher block top is perfect. It serves the purpose of extra counter space in a mid sized kitchen. Would recommend to anyone needing functional storage and counter space. Love it!

The assembled product is a home run and the wheels make it easy to move. The overall craftsmanship and table top quality is outstanding. The drawers could have been beefed up ...however on an overall scale 1-10 it's a 9.5, Store assembled comparable units are 2 to 2.5 times the purchase price. It can be put together by your self; however as indicated ask for help. estimated assembly time....1 bottle of wine.....most of which was admiring the final assembled product!

A butcher block is usually not the sort of item that I would order online, but this one got rave reviews so I gave it a chance. The two boxes that it arrived in were so heavy it took one of my kids and me to lug it inside. However, the assembly went very smoothly and it looks both very attractive, professional for a chef and substantial in the space. In fact, it accommodates two barstools and doubles as an occasional table. Very pleased with this purchase!

This is a basic rack, but it fits just right in my tiny kitchen. It is also sturdy and easy to assemble.

Love the item, but the assembly was waaay more than I bargained for. It took 2 days to assemble. If u have time constraints...maybe not for you. The compressed wood back (even though nice and thick, came in with a corner chip and had to revise. Would be nice if there was a partial assembly price. Otherwise extremely nice. The wood is quite attractive in the area

This table is better than it looks in the picture! It is very heavy and well made. The assembly was simple and easy to do. It seats two people easily and makes a wonderful addition to my kitchen- as a breakfast table and as a work station. A great product!

Like a lot of you, I've been looking on line for a cart such as this for my large kitchen. We purchased a second home in AZ and have been trying to furnish it lol. I put aside some money for an item such as this. I read the reviews or at least enough of them, saw there were only 4 left and I snatched it up. There was only one piece where the holes didn't match up. No big deal when we had a drill. Pretty easy to assemble and it's better looking in person than on line. Only thing I'm wondering is whether it's laminate on the top of the butcher block or just some sort of Varathane? For the price it's a STEAL!!!!!
