Build - Sturdy Assembly - Easy Look - Better than photo. The glass has a black backing and the metal is like a piano black (i.e., shiny). It looks very good and contemporary.

Works for Large TVs
We were having a terrible time trying to find a TV stand to take our 60" plasma - everything we liked was not capable of taking the weight of our TV! Finally I checked out this one online at Overstock, and it is perfect. It can easily handle the weight of our TV plus all of our other peripheral pieces fit well on the two shelves below. The price was good and now our TV has a home! Great value
