This dresser is very sturdy and the veneer feels very durable. Don't expect to slap it together in 10 minutes. When you are finally done you will glad you took the time to put all the pegs in. Do yourself a big favor and put the drawers together first and set those aside, then tackle the dresser.
This drawers looks great put together but agree with other users that it is massive work. It took my husband and I about 4 hours to put it together. I love the wood (at least it is not cardboard) but the number of screws that goes into this drawers is simply "spectacular", we lost count how many there are. All parts except 1 were all clearly marked - love that of it, and thank goodness only 1 part was missing label, it was easy to identify where it goes to. The style is great, if you are handy and don't mind spending the time, go for it...
This is a very nice looking dresser but be aware of the dimensions--it is extremely small. The overall height is quite low and the drawers are shallow. At best, I can fit 1-2 sweaters per stack. It is best suited for a child's room. An adult will have a very hard time fitting his or her wares inside this petite 6-drawer dresser.
The final product is as pictured. It does not have quite the height I expected, but that's my fault for not actually measuring. The dresser drawer guides are packed per drawer in a bundle, but you assemble them in a different order (those that attach to the dresser main frame and those that attach to the drawers), so watch for that. My dresser did not have enough screws to attach the drawer guides, but that was easily fixed by visiting the big box home improvement store nearby. Full assembly took about six hours.
We bought two of these dressers. The first one was a little tedious to assemble, but by the second one, we got the hang of it. It's a good quality dresser that has a nice modern look. For us, the parts for one dresser arrived in two boxes.
