I ordered this buffet for my deli and it matches my black formica items and my other stainless steel items. I couldn't have designed a more perfect piece to fit in with my decor. Love it!

The stainless steel top scratches easily and the wood is not very heavy, but it is a beautiful piece and I get lots of compliments on it. Overstock had the best price and speedy delivery, as usual.

This is a very nice buffet for the price. The color is a very dark brown, which is what we wanted. It did take us about 2 hours to put together. The instructions were clear. I did change the handles to a dark brown/espresso to match as I did not like the stainless steel look. I appreciated the previous reviews and did follow the advice for placing the wine bottle "holes" with the thicker part on top and careful nailing of the back boards. We did have to level it with some card board so that the doors stayed in place. It looks very rich even though it is pressed board.

I love this piece!! It's the perfect size for my small eat in kitchen and it fits my contemporary style perfectly. The sliding doors are awesome! It took me about 2 hours to put together by my self. Of course a lot less time if u have a helper. The piece is heavy but its not difficult to assemble. Please make sure the handles are installed correctly before popping them into the sliders. It can be very difficult to correct once you have installed. I wanted to use this as a buffet/bar but I wasn't comfortable with a mat or towel to protect the top. This furniture can damage very easily. I measured the top and had a custom glass top made and it was only $53 bucks. Talk about beautiful?!! Now Its protected and nice looking too. The chrome handles also go well with my stainless steel appliances too. It has adjustable shelves and drawers which provide great additional storage. You can't go wrong with this buffet.

Pros: sturdy, good quality and looks nice, two different options for the top (stainless steel or wood) Cons: instructions are NOT easy to follow. Way too much packaging. It was the perfect product for our small kitchen that needed a separate place for our coffee stuff. I love the modern look of the product and adds so much addition storage space we needed.

I will first start out saying that the base of product when received was slightly defective (2 of the boards didn't quite align right). A new base was sent to us under a week. My husband put this together by himself in 4-5 hours. We did put on stainless steel hardware on the drawers. It is absolutely perfect now, and we are very happy with our purchase. Appears to be good quality as opposed to several others we looked at in the stores (some even at a higher price).

I really do love this piece now that I am completely finished with it, but getting it assembled was a bit of an ordeal. My husband and I have many years of combined experience putting together flat pack items and this was one of the most poorly illustrated and guided. Also, the premounted drawer sliders which were not part of our assembly tasks were installed wrong and had to be removed and reset for the drawers to operate properly. That aside, it is a sturdy and adorable finished piece with nice quality hardwood used in its manufacture. The cherry stain was uniform, if you're into that... I painted mine a wonderful charcoal gray to add an accent color to my kitchen. I use it as a breakfast bar for the coffee maker, toaster, tea bags and filters, thermoses, etc and there is even room for some of my heavier stock pots in the very bottom shelf of the unit. The stainless steel top is beautiful and the hardware that came with the item is attractive, although I substituted my own drawer pulls to match cabinetry elsewhere in the kitchen. If I had paid top dollar I would probably be more tweaked out about the drawer construction glitch but considering it was a value price and came with free shipping I really can't complain.

Everything fits together nicely. Heavy top, but substantially good quality. If you follow the directions, it takes about 30 minutes total time to put together. Stuff lines up, did not wobble...Did not expect it to be this nice. Very surprised. This is great for a smaller space. Drawers are like the size of small nightstand drawers. Using it for a coffee station at a business, fits perfect.

This cabinet fit all the needs we wanted for a coffee center in our kitchen area. I was limited in the width I could use, and this cabinet is perfect. Assembly is a little daunting. There are many pieces. My husband put it together in about 2 hours. It would be helpful to have the pieces more clearly marked as to which side in inside the cabinet and which is exterior. We were nearly finished when I noticed we had one of the first pieces we assembled put in backwards. Luckily, we were able to correct this with little difficulty. The pieces, otherwise, are clearly marked.

Didn't realize this needed to be put together! (I should have read the details more closely!) The pieces were well marked so it went together smoothly - not as intimidating as I first thought. We use it as a nightstand (great for storage) but I could see it as a foyer cabinet or kitchen/dining room storage piece too. This is a fun piece that I will use for many years.
