Good Value
I have been using this product for two weeks. This product fully meets expectations and does the job right. I purchased it for sanding spackled drywall before painting and it finishes nicely. I also expect it would do a good job on bigger projects, like furniture surfaces. Belt sander might be appropriate for some jobs, however, where going with grain is important. I always check Overstock before making a purchase, and usually pricing and quality is not only competitive, but can't be beat.

great price, ends there
this item is a light duty sander. it would be fine for an occasional quick sanding on a board or two. i used it on cabinet doors and the 1st day i did 4 panels, both sides. the next day 2, and the next day 3. the next day i bought a new sander as this one would no longer work. as long as you aren't doing a 'project' this unit would be fine. a touch up here or there...
