I was very pleased with this product. This is the thickest down comforter I have ever owned. The price was great. I spent the same amount on a RL down comforter and it was not this big and over stuffed. It is very soft and very warm. The pillows are standard size, even if you order a king set. There was a light chemically smell that was gone in 48hrs. When using it as a comforter, you will need a bed skirt because it will not cover your box springs.

I am on here to buy another one so when mine is being cleaned at dry cleaners i always have one..that is how much i love it. Very soft, comfortable and well filled. I do not have a problem with it shedding and i have had it for 2 years now.

The feathers are constantly coming out of the comforter and pillows. I pick feathers out of my hair all day. This comforter set is very comfortable and doesn't clump. I don't know if the feathers I constantly have to vacuum are worth it though.

Be forewarned: This comforter has a serious shedding problem. Although I use a duvet cover, there is constant leakage of feathers, down, and dust particles from the comforter seams and through the fabric itself. As another reviewer has also noted, this material ends up coating everything on and around the bed, causing a highly dusty and allergenic environment. I now have to invest in a zippered comforter case to contain this leakage; king-size duvet encasements run anywhere from $80 to $250 for allergy-proof material. While the comforter is of a good weight and very warm, I definitely would *not* recommend making this purchase -- unless you happen to like living in a henhouse.

This is a wonderful addition to my bed. I thought I could use it in summer. But much to warm for me. It's in the chest and will be pulled out for long winter nights here in New England.

I bought this to go inside of a duvet cover for one of my guest rooms. It got great reviews so I was hoping it would turn out to be as good as other said it was. It was! It came compacted in a box, but once I pulled it out and spread it out, it took back on it's original shape. It really makes the bed look comfy and inviting!

I purchase this item cause of the rating. However, the quality is ok. We have trouble with the feather coming out of the comforter. Its very bad, the duvet cover doesn't help. The feather gets to our clothes, furniture, and under our bed. Its too late to return it but it too expensive to buy another one. Good luck.

My daughter won't leave my bedroom now! She loves this set so much that I have to purchase another one! The pillows are fluffy, but when you press on them to release the air, they do get flat. However, I love them like that! (I like lighter pillows). Just treat these pillows as a bonus. The comforter is very nice! I love the quality (so far). I wanted the "look and feel", much like a 4 or 5 star hotel room and it does! I added a quilted blanket and a high quality sheet set and it completes my "hotel feel". My husband LOVES the new "feel and weight" too! I get either very hot or very cold at nights (lately). Before I had a set that was soooo heavy that it made me cranky just to pull it up on me when I get cold or when I have to get them off of me, it felt like a ton of weight! LOL Now it is lightweight and easy to control! The price is excellent! That is a plus in my eyes! I would have given this set 5 stars, but for two reasons I did not: 1. It is a little short for my bed (I have a queen size platform bed that I bought from Overstock). It actually fits my bed perfectly, but does not give it any room to have it longer on one side (whoever makes the bed) or it will show the sheets underneath. So, I plan to give my daughter my set to fit her full size bed and I will purchase another set in king size). 2. I have not had the set long enough to see how the long-term wear is. I have written reviews early and after a few months,some of the products would failed. I hope this was helpful.

I am so happy with this purchase. This is probably the best thing I have ever bought from overstock. I wanted something warm but light feel. I get very cold easy and my husband gets hot. It is hard to find a cover that is good for both of us. This looks great on the bed and the pillows were nice also. The cover is very light weight but is very warm. I am very happy with this!!!!

Very satisfied with my purchase. I was looking for a comforter that has a cloud-like fluffiness. This is it! Very puffy. I've only had it for about a month, so I don't know if it keeps it's shape over time. As for the pillows, I don't love them. They look puffy until you go to use them. A little too flat for my taste. But I was happy with the price of the comforter so the pillows felt like a bonus anyway. I recommend the comforter.

I was very impressed with this set. The fabric is very pretty. The white stripes are so gorgeous; we can¿t bring ourselves to cover it with a duvet cover. I think it¿s perfect for winter warmth, yet will be light enough to use this summer. I wanted a fluffy bed fit for a princess, the kind you want to dive into because it looks so cozy- and this has done the job. The pillows are not as full as I would have liked. But they are perfect if you are a two pillow sleeper. Give this set a few days to fluff back up after receiving it, I was disappointed when I opened the box..a few days later I realized it had had time to fluff back up, and I was excited it turned out to be exactly what I wanted.

This is exactly what I wanted. The price was way less than what I've found in department stores. The quality is exceptional. It fluffed up in hours and I love it. My friends can't believe what I payed.

The comforter is exactly as the picture shows. Big, FLUFFY, soft, and VERY warm it is like a welcome to dreamland as soon as I dive in. It has changed the way I sleep. No more curling up under a quilt with socks on to keep comfy with furnace turned low to save on heating. Now I stretch out and sometimes even have to poke my bare feet out to cool off. Though the pillows aren't quite as fluffy as the other down pillows I purchased separately from Overstock they are comfy enough. I have told my friends about this comforter and even sent pictures of my "new" bed.

Let me just say that the first impression I had as the box was opened was "Wow, this looks really nice!"It did need some fluffing after being packed tightly in a small box for god knows how long. I noticed no strong odors or arrant feathers. There were a few loose threads from the manufacturing process but this is no big deal, sniped them off with scissors and that was solved.I purchased this product because....1) It had the most down of any comforter I looked at on this site2) It is made right here in the US.3) It is hypoallergenic.The quality is definitely worth the extra money. LOTS of down and again, just a great product. After using it I can say this, it was definitely warm and cozy, almost too much for me, but my wife LOVES it. We live in wintery, cold Michigan, so when I say it is warm, I mean it. Warm enough for Michigan winters, not Arizona winters like some of the other reviews you've read.With any down comforter you have to fluff it every week or so, but I haven't noticed the feathers moving around too much. The pillows were also very nice. Same quality as the feather bed. If you are looking for a great product for the price, then I would strongly recommend this one.It doesn't come with a cover, so if you want one you'll need to purchase it separately. It is dry clean only, but that to be expected with a feather bed.Finally, I purchased a king size and the size seems to be right on. Fits my king bed perfectly. Not a lot extra hanging off the sides and not too small so my wife and I aren't battling for the covers.FIVE plus stars!!!!I may update this again after a few months of use, but so far I am extremely happy with this purchase.

The one and only niggle we have with this set is that the pillows could be firmer and better-filled. That apart, this is an excellent set, came well-packed from the manufacturer, the finish work on the material is very good and - though we'd read to be aware of possible scents when first opening - was totally odour-free from the outset. The overall quality and value is very good. Delivery from Overstock was prompt and efficient.

The goose down duvet set arrived in a timely way and it was exactly what I expected in the product. After airing the duvet and pillows and fluffing them up, they feel just like the bedding we enjoyed at a luxury hotel recently. We are very happy with the purchase.
