I didn't read that the footrest has to be adjusted by hand (there is no lever for reclining or raising/lowering the footrest). I would have preferred if it was mechanical but this is a nice recliner nevertheless. It is a much-needed modern update from our old La-Z-Boy.

Overall pretty comfy chair. Locking mechanism is not very sturdy. The foot rest doesn't reach far enough up to be good support on your feet, so you have to use an ottoman for best foot support. Otherwise not bad.

We ordered two of these chairs, and we love them. They are very comfy and great to relax in. We did have a small problem with the arm rest alignment, and one chair was missing a nylock nut, but an hour and .73 cents later we had the chairs assembled and were watching TV. Great product for price.

This overall a great product. The only warning I would give is that the lower back support is nonexistent. A lumbar pillow would be recommended for extended sitting. Easy assembly, 6 screws.

I have made several faux leather furniture purchases from Overstock and I am again very impressed with the overall quality of the materials. From the durability of the steel frame to the suppleness of the PU leather, the high level of craftsmanship is apparent. Watching TV is simply wonderful in this chair, and it’s really great for taking the occasional cat nap. It has become without a doubt the most comfortable place in my home to relax.

My living room has beem amazingly transformed by this super comfortable and stylish chair. It is like a magnet for anyone coming over; everyone wants to sit in it and try the reclining function, which has a convenient locking mechanism to keep you relaxed for hours. It is extraordinarily sturdy and the minimal styling goes well with my contemporary decor. It arrived earlier than we expected and in perfect condition.

Comfortable chair. Like others have said, the reclining/footrest is not typical but it DOES work and it IS very comfortable. It has become my favorite spot to sit while watching the game.

As I moved out of the family house this was the first thing I bought. I needed something comfortable to sit on and relax, to watch the games or read. The recliner is modern, simple and great quality, looking great in my small flat living. Great price also.

We ordered two recliners into our game room. We bought a new home cinema system so we wanted something comfortable to sit on and enjoy the movies. The price is great and the comfort is top. Even when we do not watch movies I come down and read my novel while sitting in this recliner. Great deal.

This modern recliner was a birthday present for my husband. His old and ugly recliner had to be thrown out so I am happy I found this one. The price is really affordable and the quality great. I tried it out also, when he managed to get out of it and it is really comfortable. I think I will buy one for myself.

This was just the look I wanted for my living room. I bought two of them and they are just what I expected. The faux leather is softer than I thought though (a good thing for me). Wish there was a little more padding but they are very comfortable as I have fallen asleep in them more than once already.

Three chairs arrived quickly and were relatively easy to assemble. The color is very close to the picture, perhaps a bit darker (a very rich dark brown). Chairs are being used as gaming chairs for teenagers and are very comfortable when reclined. Foot rest must be manually raised and lowered, but moves easily. A previous reviewer used this chair as an office chair which I think is a very accurate description of the size - more streamlined and not bulky - but still plenty of room. We moved these chairs into the family room for extra seating on Superbowl Sunday and they were the first ones people grabbed and did not give up for the entire game. We are very happy with these chairs for the price and quality!
