  • Light Matters

    I am not all that fond of chandeliers. All that crystal smanchy pancy. Yuck! I wanted a semi-flush light in the dining room. Of course I headed over to OVERSTOCK.COM. They rarely fail me. My dining set consisted of heavy dark wood with a chrome bar underneath. I am not a big fan of chrome either. But this light struck my fancy for two weeks I lined of lights comparing them to each other and flip flopping. I finally decided on this one with some fear. It soon arrived and boy was I excited to take it out the box! Stunning! The picture does it no justice. A quietly stated elegance. The crystals are real and the white gloves come in handy to attached them. Follow the directions the crystals are three tiered and have a specific order. It only took 20-30 mins to attached them. The directions to the electrical were not clear to me I had installed lights before and it was straight forward. No need for a electrician just basic knowledge and common sense. Once my beautiful light was up. I just stared at it. Then I cut on the lights! OMG this has changed the whole room. The crystals, the scrolled drum and the slight sliver sheen underneath is mesmerizing. I tore myself away and ran to the hardware store for a dimmer switch. It is so romantic. (sigh) . People have paid me loads of compliments over this light and my dining room. It's now the crowning jewel of the house.

  • Great style at a great price

    I really love this flush mount chandelier. I wanted a mix of modern/traditional to go with my eclectic dining room feel, and this light completely fits! The crystals add a touch of elegance and the shade is a lovely pattern. Mine doesn't really "throw" patterns across the wall despite the pattern in the shade, but it does give off great light overall. I have short ceilings -- approx 7.5-8 ft and this works PERFECTLY above our dining room table. Great buy!! Highly recommended!!

  • Modern Chandelier

    I have only briefly looked at the chandelier and it seems to match well to the description. I have not had a chance to put it up yet since my dining room needs painted. I am however, very excited to get started on putting up the chandelier and decorating.

  • High Impact for the price-Very nice quality.

    This flushmount was purchased for a bedroom. The scale of the fixture is perfect. The flush mount allows ample clearance below the crystals. The 4 bulbs at 60 watts is more then sufficient lighting wise. Bright when you need it. I have mine on a dimmer to reduce the brightness for typical, every day use. It adds a touch of elegance without being too over the top. The shade tones the crystal aspect down to give it a modern twist. The fixture was easy to install as well. I did it in under an hour including the time to take down the lighted ceiling fan that was in its place. For general safety I would still recommend having a professional handyman or electrician install the fixture. I am highly satisfied and highly recommend the fixture.

The product details states the shade is antique bronze finish. However, the photo looks more black and reviews also state is more of a black finish.
