this is cute, however it is cheaply made and should have cost much less. I was glad that I called regarding the warranty, finding out that there was absolutely no guarantee so I bought the extended replacement value warranty for $10. This product should have cost maybe half of what was charged.

The lamp was not as great as it looked. The fish did not float but, lay on the bottom. The light went only part way up the tube at best and the "rotationg" colors are manual color inserts...not easy. I bought this lamp to "mood lite" the living room and it is a very poor make. We had to replace the bulb went we got it and it just is no good.

It is cute but not bright at all!!! And the base is a solid black, not like the picture. Plus, it comes with only 2 little fish...not at all like the picture. I am very disappointed :-(

I actually bought this for my newborn. It is a nightlight and a constant soothing sound that keeps her asleep at night!I bought one about 15 years ago by a different manufacturer and it still works but Grandma needed one too for her house for the baby. Its great decoration and has an on/off switch on the cord.

This is a nice enough lamp but there are two gotchas with it: The first is that this only casts enough light to be considered a night light. I bought it as a much-needed lamp for my son's room, thinking it would not be as bright as a typical floor lamp but a "lamp" nonetheless. Turns out it basically does not add hardly any light to the room. The only time its light is of any effect is when it's pitch black and it's the only thing on. Sadly, the light that leaks in his room from the hall is still the main light source for his room. The second gotcha is that the picture shows the base as a blue lit-up hemisphere. In reality, the lamp comes with a solid black base and if you want a translucent colored one you have to order it from the company for an extra $10 + shipping. I think the translucent base might help with problem 1 a little, but I'm not really interested in spending $15 to find out. I need to buy a real lamp. So if you want the world's coolest but most expensive night light, this is your lamp.
